Anyone else gotten an update on leather shoe production lately? I have been waiting on some black gum sole lows for a time now and have seen this update for a while: Leather for shoes has been ordered. Unfortunately shoe production as a whole is behind. We will keep you posted on status as more information becomes available.
I want to back some more to get some more color variation, I think the lows are very comfortable and look great with most any casual/semi formal outfit, I have worn my siennas a lot...and also they make a size 14 which is hard to find for my Shrek feet.

Finally got an update today on shoe production saying the leather has arrived and they will begin cutting in early November. So just a keep in mind for those looking to order Gustin shoes. I have the Sienna lows and I really like them hence why I ordered more, but keep this in mind when ordering. Obviously there will be a wait with Gustin, but these shoes have taken either as long or longer than anything I have gotten from them, which is quite a bit by this point...I would say they are worth it, but if you are needing shoes in the very near future you may be best to find another option.

yeah no, not made by Greats. I have a couple pairs, def great shoes, but not the same quality for sure

I'm less concerned about where they are made, and more concerned with the price point. If they can't beat the price point of greatsbrand, what's the point? I can get a pair of their their Royales within days. Granted, if these are all horween then that changes things. I have the pair of greats royale in black and white and brown and white. Granted, I love them and i probably wear them more than any other pairs of shoes. But- the leather is NO where near the quality of gustin's or common projects. Its full grain leather which is nice,but the soles so far have worn down significantly in the 6 months i have had them. |

How are these sized?
I wear a 9 in converse Chuck's, would a size 9 work for me?
