What is everyone's thoughts on the announced G-feet?
I'm intrigued based on the photos. Interested in materials, price, and if they hint/leak who is actually constructing them.

I think it's funny they're launching in June as I'm considering joining the 90 day no spend. If they drop under 100 and are made of, say, horween, I think it could be interesting. I like the details I'm seeing, though I wish the sole had a bit lower profile. A fully lined leather sneaker made in the USA is something I can get behind.

Just noticed the very clear "MADE IN ITALY" on those yellow slip-ons.

I like (from whats being shown). Let's get some close ups, specs and price first. I have a feeling these will be offered at $150+

No way they're made in the US or western Europe for <$150.

As long as they're buttery soft I'm in.

As long as they're buttery soft I'm in. Don't forget the gauze-like insides.

An early prediction (and I may be wrong about this) but I see these shoes going over about as big as their briefcase did.

What's everyone guess on pricing?
I'm thinking the G-CPs will be near the Kent Wang pricing... maybe $99.

Well spotted. Guess I'll have to get Thorogood code 3 to stay in American sneakers... Man. Don't want to crap on your decision but I think those look awful.

I will be in sub 150. If it magically hit $99 probably 2. Fwiw I believe $140 is a good guess.

An early prediction (and I may be wrong about this) but I see these shoes going over about as big as their briefcase did. I think they're gonna be huge, if they hit 135 or below. $150+ they'll be pretty middling, like with the briefcase. If the briefcase had matched the aesthetics of the duffle in design details (and had a leather bottom), I'd probably be anticipating the delivery of one. I respect that's not what they were going for, but a guy can wish, right? Anyway, I think they're hitting a ceiling with their newer buyers, who care if it's USA made up to a point, and then it becomes purely an economics decision. If I can buy two to three pairs of premium Cons (hitting on sale) for the price of Gustins, and have them in two days as opposed to three months, it's a tough sell if I don't care about fair labor treatment.

Way too many factors to make a pre-decision. They look like generic Frye Chambers. 1) USA Made? 2) Logos on final products? 3) Materials? 4) Cost? I might be in, but when I can nab real Frye for under $100 on sale, I'd be hard pressed to go with these unless the answers to the above are good.

They will definitely ostrich sometimes (though this was largely while they were going through whatever happened with Cody), perhaps oftentimes, and in doing so fail to admit mistakes, but I don't think they act arrogant. Though they will have to redesign this guy if these shoes are coming out of Italy (though I suppose there could be American ex-pats making shoes in Italy):

If they're not made in America, I will stick with Chuck 70's.
If they are made in America, I will probably still stick with C70's or just grab some US made PF Flyers.

What Old26 said. I'm a bit Leary of wearing Gustin head to toe (I think there's a Gustin cap)

I'm intrigued based on the photos. Interested in materials, price, and if they hint/leak who is actually constructing them. it's unlikely they'll reveal who will makes their shoes, the same way they don't reveal which mills their fabrics come from. that's like asking McDonald's for the recipe to their secret sauce used in their Big Macs

Could be decent, depends on cost. The thing with footwear is, it takes time and reviews from others to figure out how the sizes compare to brands you know. If I'm a 12 in brand X and a 13 in brand Y, it's always a crap shoot ordering brand Z when there is no information available. It looks like a CP or Buttero clone, so I would consider these generic CPs, nothing more.
