I'm just going to be a little self-conscious when wearing them with shorts, but overall, I'm really happy with them. They aren't white, more of a cream color, just like the soles, which is perfect.

Does anybody knows what is the current wait time on the Italian low top sneakers? I just backed an existing campaign and want to manage my expectations.

Thanks! The campaign says August, so yes, three months sounds about right. Hopefully they stay on track with their estimate. Nonetheless, Europe shuts down for summer vacations in August so I wouldn't be surprise if they go well into September...

I got my sienna lows yesterday but they are TOTALLY INSANELY LOLOMG TOO HUUUGE!!!
I wonder if someone is having a laugh somewhere, this is a size 8 and they are *bigger* then my allstars size 8,5 I would say atleast 1 size bigger, what in the world of everything measurable is the meaning of this?
Offcourse there are no size 7 in stock so my choices are to back another pair and wait for october when they show up, which totally destroys the reason I got these for summer.
They look great tho, really have an exquisite feel and I would back a 7 in no time if it showed up now.

CPs and Butteros can be taken a full size down from your normal UK/brannock size. Maybe a size and a half down if you have narrow feet.

The narrow isnt the thing, the are too long.
Problem is coming straight with facts, Gustin says "if you are 8,5 size down to 8" and I would buy a 7 and its too small then all lolz are on me. But when I do as told and they are still 1 size too big then this is wrong information, so wrong that it would be better to leave out altogether since it steer people in the wrong direction. "these shoes runs about 1-1.5 size big" would be the facts and would have gotten me the right size.

Ok so im just wearing these since there is no sizes to swap to.
They work if i tighten the laces and hopefully they get better with wear/molding to the foot.
Color is awesome and its starting to patina already. Also very comfy.
I Will totally buy another pair.

Huh. That link is taking me to tan suede Chelsea boots. Hmm, that's strange. It does work for me. Try searching for "Shoe The Bear Hiro" at asos.com.

got caught in a torrential downpour on my bike yesterday while wearing my sienna-green lows. 3 miles later and they were literally holding water. they still haven't fully dried, but i'm pretty sure they're in a condition that i'm not likely to wear them often from now on. the color and texture of the leather has fundamentally changed, and the dye from the leather has stained both the outsole and laces (laces easy enough to replace) i'll try to get some photos up as a PSA once they're fully dried out.

Maybe some leather conditioner will even them out. yeah, i'll probably give that a whirl at some point. in hindsight i probably should have applied some earlier, but i typically don't condition new shoes/boots for a while. the color doesn't appear to be terribly uneven, which is a plus...just has a very pebbly texture and is a very dark brown now...with the orange/sienna staining on the outsole.

Also pour a bag of rice on it. If it's good enough for a phone, it's good enough for shoes..probably.

Certainly not what you'd expect from a "good quality leather".

Certainly not what you'd expect from a "good quality leather". First, I don't think @david implied this, so this isn't meant to be a dig at him. It sucks that he got the bad-end of this. Now to my response: I know this is likely to gain me an Avenger title, but I think you're going to run into this sort of thing regardless of the "implied quality" of leather if they haven't been waterproofed or weather-proofed in any way whatsoever. It isn't a naturally waterproof material, it shouldn't be expected to behave like nylon. People shrink high quality hiking boots to their foot by soaking them in water (with feet in) knowing that the leather is going to shrink and change. It also stands to reason that, when soaked with water, you would see dye start to seep and run. Just remember why you usually wash black clothing by itself when you first get it, or why you separate your darks and your lights when doing laundry.

I wouldn't think a request that they consider putting a note about waterproofing/weather treating the shoes on the site would be out of line, either. I'm mostly curious, in your case, if the green dye also bled down the back of the shoe.

exophobe it's hard to say about the green bleeding. the leather around the heel cup ended up much darker (but so did a bit around the toe), so i'm not sure if that's from the green, or grime, etc. there are a few bits of the green leather that have light/white spots...so i'm sure there was at least some color transfer
