What is the competitive going price for superlight zimbs? Is your Google broken or are you just yielding the shield in annoyance mode? JB0408's are $119, but non selvedge, but similar build quality to G. Momotaro 10oz are $147, with hidden rivets and an illegal pocket tag. SdA 12oz are $157 and similar to Momo in extra details. And of course all of those are available in your hands by the end of the week. I'm not a morning person.

Thanks guys.
So the value question has been answered, how about the fabric performance?
I guess I should just assume that since they are Zim long staple that it's great.
JB0408 only go up to 36 so I'm out on that.

You shouldn't! Appreciate there aren't too many 'premium' sub 12oz options but considering that Gustin is supposed to be offering their products at a competitive price at the very least I just don't see the value. What is the competitive going price for superlight zimbs? This is generally speaking, surely the whole model of crowd sourcing is based on keeping overheads low, nope? I dunno, maybe others are happy to pay close to $140 for those shipped but I think there's better value elsewhere. Not that Gustin doesn't offer that, just not in this instance.

I'd probably get both the superlight and the Pima in the store rather than the Zimbabwe, given the price, and if I were serious about any of it (way too many indigo jeans in the closet), just the Pima.

I love my Zim superlights FWIW. But I did antique them with a green tea dye, first. Also FWIW.

Thanks for the thought but I like the look of the Zims better than the Pima, which has that soft frayed surface thing I associate more with sweatpants than light denim. And the superlight are so dark I don't like that fabric either for what I'm looking for. I am tempted by the Japan Summer sea but I dont think that weave is what I'm looking for. FWIW I like light pants for summer and only have one pair of lightweight jeans which are the 9oz Italian Pink ID. Probably just gonna end up going with them and hoping I'm happy.

Well I pulled the trigger, feeling spendy.
I'll be back to complain when I get them in October.
Thanks for the help everyone.
