Even dropping it now I'd be surprised to see them ship by end of Nov. Glad I already have my pairs in hand :-)
In fact I rotated the light weight jeans out for the Z18s and cashmeres last night, as it's already "high of 65" weather in Seattle.

is it just me or are the mama zimbs some of the slowest faders around? mine probably have 50-60 wears and many miles on my bike...but only the babiest of fades forming.

The 15oz zimbs for me have faded but far from quick.
They develop more of a patina than anything. Not high contrast by any means.

I believe that's a characteristic of Zimbabwe denim, slow and low contrast fades. Same with natural indigo I believe

Not expecting high contrast, just a bit surprised at how little they've changed over time. I've got 50-60 wears on mine, many miles on my bike and only the faintest baby fades in a few spots.

My 15oz finally blew out both the crotch and one of the knees. Probably going to repair it, but they are mostly retired now with probably over 500 wears. I need to take some 'retirement' shots.
Just did the soak on my new zimb loomstates I picked up in the stock store with some old store credit. Those might become the new hotness.

500, wow. These are the toughest faders I have ever had. I got mine in March, have worn them about 3 times per week and am just now getting barely visible honeycombs, and whiskers. The only places that have really faded are the seams of the pockets from sitting on my ass so much. I have dubbed these student fades.

Kinda miss wearing my 15oz zimbs. Might have to throw them back on. Been wearing my heavier stuff and chinos recently.

repiv, 500 wears...massive evo - maybe not in hi-contrast fades but certainly in hi-comfort feel. Remember julian describing well worn Zimbs feeling like chamois. Hope ya post up a retirement pic or 2.

Anyone else have the Zim Loomstates? I received mine in early November and have been wearing them almost exclusively since. i'd say they have about 75 wears at this point, one initial soak and two washes. Fades aren't particularly slow, nor are they fast. Have defined whiskers, honeycombs, and wallet fades at this point. I love the feel of the fabric, and there wasn't that traditional painful break-in period you would expect from this weight. From day one I found them super comfortable. They are slim 38, and I found the rise came in a little short after the soak (much like my Antiques). I would say they measure in as more of a 35-36 skinny, based on the measurement guides from Gustin.

I have the original Zoomies. I've been wearing these almost exclusively since September. Fades haven't been great, but not terrible either. The small amount of slub is starting to get hints of fades when I'm in full sunlight, but are otherwise unnoticeable. Prepare for the long haul...

Guys have any thoughts on the superlights? I like the look of the weave better than the other superlight offerings at the moment, just wondering if I should pay the premium.

Appreciate there aren't too many 'premium' sub 12oz options but considering that Gustin is supposed to be offering their products at a competitive price at the very least I just don't see the value.

What is the competitive going price for superlight zimbs? Is your Google broken or are you just yielding the shield in annoyance mode? JB0408's are $119, but non selvedge, but similar build quality to G. Momotaro 10oz are $147, with hidden rivets and an illegal pocket tag. SdA 12oz are $157 and similar to Momo in extra details. And of course all of those are available in your hands by the end of the week.
