IMHO, these jeans suck. I wish I had created this contest with a better pair.

IMHO, these jeans suck. I wish I had created this contest with a better pair. Next time (possibly in January), which pair? Should we make a S&S Anniversary contest? Or something else that others could get into? it hard to pick a good fitting New G Jean that will sew up right.

After today's Beating of these jeans I think they'll actually be a nice looking and summer beater pair. If only they fit. whiskeyriver How do you like the jeans that you've had tapered by RC? Do you prefer the G Straits and have them tapered over the Slims?

Do you prefer the G Straits and have them tapered over the Slims? Currently, I'm only wearin' the Superlight Zims of my G jeans, and I love them. They are slims, were a grab bag purchase, came in at a good length and great taper. Love em'. But that's the only G pair I wear. I don't think I've had any tapered by RC. By RC, I have had one pair of Oni hemmed and tapered (Secrets), and my IH 666 hemmed and tapered, and my Lawless and Indigogene and Left Field Black Marias came tapered and hemmed to just how I like it straight outta the bag. I bought a pair of indigo Left Fields off of a user here, and the hem and length are great on those (just a tad short, so I wear them uncuffed). The hem on my Flat Heads are a bit wide for my taste, but not enough to get them tapered, and the length is great. So I love those. My Oni 517 have a touch wide hem, but the length is also great. The length and hem of my Lee 101s are pretty perfect too. The hem on my Old Blue 8.25" are definitely too wide, but I still wear them. Mainly around the house. But I still like 'em. I think that's my entire rotation right now.

I hate them putting them on but forget about it after wearing some, and especially if wearing for days in a row, but if I lay them away and them pick them up after a week im like whaa-aaat the fuuuuck. But other then the backrise and the thiness i really love the weft and the character of the fadings, mine still fades sweet, they dont get abnormally puffy ass or knees so typically G, so close but yet kinda far.

You guys complaining about the rise, did you buy the slims?

You guys complaining about the rise, did you buy the slims? Nope, I bought the straights. Probably could have sized up one more, but c'est la vie.

You guys complaining about the rise, did you buy the slims? Yes. I sized up one. wanted a 37 after soaking so I went with 38. Even if I had sized up 2 (which there is no 39), they would still been all wonky.

I sized up 2 in straight. Soaked to darn near perfect specs, between G slim and straight. No rise issues here.

I ordered straight and sized up one, in hindsight sizing up two might have been better, but I don't have any rise issues. I suppose I would had I wanted the higher rise of the straight, though. Just not a possibility with Gustin unsanforized.

With slims, the rise is borderline, and the taper starts too high for my longer thighs. I get the best fit from their unsanforized offerings.
