Who all would be down for a first-ever SelvedgeStyle.com fade contest? I think this would be a great pair to choose because of the uniqueness, the look and inkyness of them which could hopefully lend itself to a fadey pair, the shrink to fit unsanforized nature of the denim, and the cost so the accessibility to many of us. Anyone down? I'm down.

dammit whiskey...I didn't think you'd actually start something!..lol.
This is very tempting but I don't know how I'm going to give my Iron Hearts the love they deserve over the next year or so if I jump in on this fade contest. The contest is a great idea though, this pair is a great pair to do it with IMO, and the timing is right as we could start the contest on 01/01/16 with these.
hmmmmm....let me think about this.
so what would be the rules guys? is this for fun or shall we have a prize? I know @untucked threw out the idea of a pick your own pair fade contest but I think it's best if we all use the same pair, just my opinion. What do you guys think?

Impossible for me to add another pair to my line-up... I have my 24oz RHxPBJ en route currently, PBJ XX-007, IH-555-03 and my Sugar Canes.
I mean, it's possible, but I'm not interested. I've gotta beat these pairs that I have

..there is no way I can wear 13oz in down to -13F in the Norwegian winter. I could do it but then I can only wear them inside, so it will be half the time for me...hm could work? Yeah what are the rules, and offcourse the winner gets a prize, like we chip in for a Marshdown doppkit for the winner or something! I would suggest goal is right after the summer then I could go bananas in the end atleast. (like august/sept maybe) And also, is it allowed to trash them, like sitting on asphalt, or should it only be "normal wear" ? I personally think closest to normal is the best or else this could go a little off track? |

If it's for a year of wear. Mine won't get much wear like Griffin in the winter. But Jan17-Jan18 should be equal time/season for everyone. |
