I am thinking to get a heavy 18oz denim Jacket. Which type you guys like better? I am thinking about Trucker. I also have an eye on a vest similar to this. Any comment?

I just ordered an18oz indigo type III from lawless. I requested a "lawless" or blank patch instead of the Japanese stylized patch. I have been looking for a long time and am very excited. I am hoping that all the yelp issues have been worked out. All the enthusiasm from the G forum crew was the deciding factor in going w lawless. Also G won't put up a denim trucker for me to back

Also G won't put up a denim trucker for me to back Banway, we can be a enthusiastic buch at times. A lot of this group were encouraging Gustin to make the kind of products that Roman wants to do. What I have observed, is that Gusting likes to put out what they want, or what they think will sell. I get the feeling that Lawless wants to make stuff for denimheads. We all seem to like similar things.

I'm waiting for a 17oz. slub denim jacket. I'm really pumped, as I've never had a selvedge denim jacket before. Love denim jackets, but I've only experienced pre-washed/faded denim jackets from mass distributors. Excited to see what Lawless does to my denim jacket world.

I tweeted G a month ago about the possibility of them doing a denim jacket and was told that they had no plans for it currently. It was a very pos. interaction and they got right back to me I like G and want to support them. At the same time, if my lawless jacket is 90% as good as the big john jacket I tried on and ships this year i will be very happy at $113.00 for 18.5oz.

It will also have big implications that the market is open to pricing innovation

Where can you see the style images? Looks like the trucker and type iii are the same photoshoot. It is, he's still working on adding in more images of the jacket types. You'll notice (and Roman was quick to point this out to me when I tried on the Cone Orange ID jacket from the pics) that you can order a Type II jacket as well. I did a general Google image search and like the uniqueness of this style. It's got potential. It's there if anyone wants to take the dive on this more unique look.

Type II prototype shot up on IG A tailor in the Philippines chopped me out an almost identical design. I've always loved it. Great fades on the pleats. Trucker=Tough, Simple, Classic. The L trucker will have great raw denim, no doubt. Ace jacket, imo! </div>

Stopped by to visit roman at the shop to see what's new - I got to see (and try on) the beautiful new jackets that have been teased on IG and will be forthcoming on the new website (saw that as well - amazing work jbreitenbucher and others involved). Roman encouraged me to take pics and share with everyone here What's featured: - Type 2 jacket - indigo over indigo Kiahara (love the look and the coloring of the indigo over indigo) - really impressed by the details in every stitch. - Utility jacket (chore coat) - 18.5 Kuroki - Incredible jacket. The 18.5 oz is ridiculously soft and has a really bright weft - looking forward to my jeans. - Trucker jacket - Roman will need to confirm, but I believe this is Cone Mills. If the link doesn't import the pictures, it's an album on Imgur here. Embedding code didn't work as I planned.

matt I'm hoping Roman can get ahold of some Ventile (cousin to Milerain?) cloth. I'd really like to do a jacket in that. Something like but a little more stylish/retro. Hopefully people find the new site more informative and user friendly.

That chore coat looks absolutely outstanding. Thanks so much for the pictures, bro!

I like that. I think Roman would have to chime in on if it's doable - not something we particularly see regularly in Phoenix (unless we head north to Sedona and Flagstaff and the other areas in the mountains ) Maybe it's worth tracking down some cut/sizing templates and maybe Roman can hook you up with a one-off creation?

Hopefully people find the new site more informative and user friendly. I have the Gustin High-Density Coal (Ventile) Chore Coat and wear it often.. I like these technical fabrics and would totally be in to more products made of that material. I think it comes in different colors, too..
