HI Derek Glad you like it. I'm not a sleeper. I average 5 hours a night then I'm up around 3-3:30am. I do my best work at 4am when no one is around.

wisdom it at least comes in olive matt I should let Lawless focus on what they want to be great at which I think will be classic work wear, riding gear, and denim and updated/modern takes on them. Barbour, Howies, and many others have decades of experience with a jacket of this type and I should respect that.

Stopped by to visit roman at the shop to see what's new - I got to see (and try on) the beautiful new jackets that have been teased on IG and will be forthcoming on the new website (saw that as well - amazing work jbreitenbucher and others involved). Roman encouraged me to take pics and share with everyone here What's featured: - Type 2 jacket - indigo over indigo Kiahara (love the look and the coloring of the indigo over indigo) - really impressed by the details in every stitch. - Utility jacket (chore coat) - 18.5 Kuroki - Incredible jacket. The 18.5 oz is ridiculously soft and has a really bright weft - looking forward to my jeans. - Trucker jacket - Roman will need to confirm, but I believe this is Cone Mills. If the link doesn't import the pictures, it's an album on Imgur here. Embedding code didn't work as I planned.
That is some awesome looking stuff. Thanks for posting that up Matt.

My Lawless wishlist keeps growing with every visit to the shop. I went there to try on a shirt and tried on 3 jackets and now I'm thinking about 3 jackets that I need in my collection.
Not a bad problem to have.

Agreed...I think I should just hand over a good portion of my salary over to Roman now. I can see me spending a lot over the next few years, kinda like a denim bank account EDIT: maybe that's not such a stupid idea after all...A denim bank account....hmmm

Sorry guys but that jacket is not in line with our style. It's a great looking piece but I would have to pass on making that one.

The chore coat is so crisp looking. I imagine this made up using the Kaihara 12.5 oz with white stitching & buttons

Hey roman I got the buttons I ordered for my shirts. I was thinking I will bring them with me & maybe add them on myself while there. I think I have 50 black anchor buttons so I should have a few left if anyone is interested in using them. They are a bit bigger than shirt buttons but will be good for 12-14 oz denim. I think the are 15mm or 5/8 of an inch

I'm open to doing something n Ventile cloth. Just not that style. Would you consider doing a Ventile cloth Western shirt? JUst so u guys know there are plans to do themed releases. I have an idea to come out with some camping shirts & a ventile shirt might fit well in there. Of course there isnt anything set but we plan on keeping things exciting so that its not the same stuff over & over. Still with all that we will try to remain workwear related.

Working on Chinos right now. any thoughts? I'd like to see some Chinos in a raw duck fabric, and possibly some heavyweight military twill. Something that will show a little character and fade over time. Not so much the lightweight stuff you see everywhere. Also hope you offer them with button fly, like the originals.

Davelewis you will be able to select the denim and I'm working on some other options. they will be button fly or zipper you decide. Just finalized the back pocket detail stitching I should have then later today. I'll try to share some images.
