Would love this in a slimmer/longer cut. Or at least slimmer. I love the idea of this and I've seen a number of shows in the last few years where suede was used to make some killer vintage looks. This one would be on my list for sure.

The suede looks nice. I saw a type III made of horsehide once and it has stuck with me as an awesome idea ever since. A horsehide version would be great. HH would be good if it's a lighter HH. I've got jackets of all hides and weights, and FQHH heavy is not for everyone or every jacket. Some need drape, and those pics of the suede Roman posted have me anxious.

I like the Jacket but I want those pants.... Please take my money NOW. I'm hoping it's the tan x tan that was on the store when the new site launched (and on the old site), since I got it hoping they looks something like this (and because, frankly, if I get more denim that looks like denim my problem will become obvious).

Roman, I'd definitely be in on that. Would it be lined, and if so, with what? I'm also with Old26, a bit longer and slimmer would be great.

More work, but more options for changing weather.

I have some 60's LEE Blanket lined, and the lining always seems to go out earlier than the denim. If you can get a robust and non-itchy wool, I'd love it.

Anything similar to the Japanese khaki in the pipeline, Roman?

I like the jacket alot!! Really nice work!
I do not want it longer. I love the short trucker-style. I would need to see the back tho but what I like with this one is:
* The 1 pocket. * The color of the hide * That its short * yoke and pleats * the thicknes of it!!
I would like wool in body and satin in arms. Or satin all over. I need a liner.

Good Feed back Griffin. This one is satin lined and it's very comfortable. It is 1" short on the waist from a standard denim jacket due to the leather. I want to make that correction and a cinch on the back.

Could you upload a pic of the back when worn so we have that also. When you have the time.

I want to make that correction and a cinch on the back. In addition to Griff's suggestions, I'd also bump that one chest pocket up an inch or two. If you have a design reason for having it where it is, that's cool; it's just that it stands out to me as looking a little low compared to what I'm used to. For jackets of this style, I feel like it's typical for the top of the chest pocket(s) to be more or less aligned with the bottom of the arm hole (or the armpit of the wearer, depending on the specific fit of the jacket).

Here is new Suede Type I we are working on. I really do want this roman. Really. Roman wore this jacket everyday and it quickly settled into looking vintage looking. It looks like it was a hand me down jacket you receive from your dad or something. Really cool jacket
