Some abrasion marks on my Camel Boners. From the fabric being rolled improperly after washing (at the manufacturer). I noticed this too on my camel. My tailor actually pointed it out. Like water marks or something on the pants. Some parts have lines on them kinda like a water stain. Damn, I just got the dreaded "1%" email from Gustin saying that my camel herringbones failed QC. I was getting suspicious given that others had already received theirs. I wonder if these stains/abrasions are why they held mine back. I'm bummed. Double-bummed really, since my last Gustin order had to be returned as well for defects. Admittedly, a trivial problem in the grand scheme of life. But still bummed :-)

Straight from Gustin. I didn't wash mine at all or wear even. I just looked at the fabric around the hips is where I first noticed it but I don't think it matters. Did you get them hemmed? And if you did, you didn't wash them before hemming? No I don't soak or wash before hemming.

Received my Vintage Rainbow Plaid and a Blue Oxford (Stock Store, shirt grab) in Slim Large and both of them don't fit...Most of my shirts are regular Medium but i got a White Oxford SLim Large that fitted better so i went for some more...bad choice!!! The Chest/Pit to pit measure is more or less 20.3 inch (40.6), according to the size chart they should be 21.75... This is a first on their shirts that usually are spot on for me.

This happened with both slim large shirts I ordered, so now I don't even try.

I've backed 3 tall small shirts that are excellent, but I just picked up one from the stock store that was also several inches small in the center-back, sleeve, and chest. Something odd about stock store shirt sizes...

How big are the straight cuffs really? I want to back thr naturals in a straight, but I'm afraid of monster cuff, especially on a lighter fabric.
Also, have any of you experienced shrink on Gustin denim with a warm soak?

Cross post:
Anyone with a 36 straight denim can you comment on the rise? Lower, higher, on spec with the fit guide.

Gustin CS still the best CS I've dealt with among the group of kickstarters and crowd sourced companies. Props to Stephen for getting things done for me.

I still wonder what happened to Cody. He was always a class act when I dealt with him, a true professional.

I sent back my Super Heavy Twill Blue Orange shirt because it was small, and they confirmed it was mistagged as a Slim Large instead of Medium. They refunded me the shirt and return shipping, which was nice.

I was thinking I wanted a CC refund, but I might keep the credit just so I can see what's in the stock store.

I could have gone either way because there were things I was planning on buying, but Matt sent me an email saying he refunded my credit card, so that's fine too.

I thought their new offices were high. http://instagram.com/p/0bkN98Dgbs I miss the beginning of Gustin, when Cody would come on the community page. Now it just feels like I'm buying something from JCrew.
