Picked up a pair of Buzz Rickson Original Spec Chinos, and they are outstanding. I've a few pair of Gustin straight chinos, and find them a bit tight in the legs for my liking. I wanted an excellent quality, military inspired trouser, that was "comfortable". I know I'm probably only one of a couple here that would wear a this cut, but damn, these are quality, and super comfortable. Japanese mil-spec tightly woven twill, and a price less than most Gustin offerings, LF, Epaulet, etc. global.rakuten.com/en/store/hinoya/item/br40025a/

They look good and that's a heckuva price. BR are always high quality.

It seems like buzz rickson has a stable of winners over there, I haven't heard a bad thing about the stuff they put out.

Got my buzz rickson loopwheeled sweatshirt in navy today. From QS Gate on rakuten very fast shipping.
18.5" at the waist 21.5" at the chest Sleeves are a little long for me. I'm sure the shirt will stretch for me over time.
The fleece is awesome so fluffy. First loopwheeled garmet and I get why it costs more. Thick ribbed collar much better than my jcrew vintage crew.
Well see how it goes this fall!

Oh and I ended up being charged $84 that included shipping and I had about 15$ in points. That and I get wacked a few dollar fees for international transaction fees.

Nice DigDug ! Buzz stuff is priced right! I agree. They don't have a large catalog of items, but what they do offer in my experience, is excellent quality, and materials. I was told by Charlie at HP, that they only do runs once a year, and he said that they restock in September.

They have alot more variety than I ever knew... At least 50-60 pages worth. Can you say "Indigo dyed leather jackets" ??

I totally had spaced on their jackets, which really are substantial.

Any one here know about the United Carr line? Quality etc. I'm eyeing an eBay item but can't find much info. Going by Rakuten I'd guess it's a lower priced option from BR.

I do. I like it, but it wears a lot larger than it should. The bottom half has that weird thing where it billows out that a lot of Japanese stuff does.

I just saw the black mock twist Chambray at a thrift shop for $40..... But someone chopped off the chainstitch run off...... My gf said "why are you looking at this shirt? It doesn't even have those strings that you like!" lol. Obviously she's very observant, because I don't discuss my clothing obsession with her
