Well I'm putting an order in if they have one left at rodeo bros and get like $55 in points. If this one doesn't fit I'll be disappointed.

I'm so confused on Buzz sizing. I feel like I could fit in the large 40 for Buzz but I think the XL would be better. Really looking at the A2 jacket from buzz. Be about 1k shipped and I would earn over $100 in rakuten points. You're not getting any jackets...you know it.

Been looking at sizing. 40 large or 42 XL in the basic A2 BR80253 "rough wear clothing co" Shoulders are kinda weird like small ish. Im going off the rakuten size chart. Trying to find a non rakuten size chart.

Took a couple of days to get a response from Rodeo Bros but I missed out on the Large jacket by a day. I need to continue my hunt for a deck jacket. I'm going to be in Chicago tomorrow. Anyone know of any places that might have some in stock I could check out?
**and at this point any deck jackets that are similar**

Other retailers on Rakuten had larges.

I went with the BR 12031. Similar design/stenciling but not quite as robust as the 32. I'm ok with that. I saved $175. Which now let's me justify my WW2 impressions boondocker.

The N1 arrived yesterday and I finally got the fit I was looking for. I will post some images later. I can now say that because I have owned the BR 12032 and now then 31 that the alpaca lining on the 32 is clearly more substantial. But I wore the 31 today and spent about 15 minutes outside in 5 degree weather and I was perfectly warm.
I considered the IH one but the measurements seem to have me in between sizes. But I was tempted to put an offer on a IH N1 for sale on ebay but I think 2 n1 jackets would be overkill.

We've been pretty warm for the last 5 years, but this year I've got some good time in the PB N1 and I do love that thing. Looking forward to the pics...

Guy is funny offering used boots without a picture, especially since he started them at full retail.

I really liked the black IH 1213 thermal I picked up a while back, and picked up the grey one. Really wanted something in green which IH does not offer, so decided to try a Buzz crew neck thermal in Olive. According to Mihara at RB, the buzz is actually 20 grams heavier, which equates to .70 oz, but when you hold one in each hand you can't tell the difference. The Buzz knitting is not quite as raised as the IH, and has a smoother appearance, and is just a tad more fitted, and about an inch shorter in length. Overall, I'm glad I picked it up, although it will get more use later down the road with warmer weather starting to happen. Just putting the link for description of course, and purchases should be made through RB, or Rakuten. www.historypreservation.com/products-page/buzz-ricksons-brands/buzz-ricksons-vintage-style-thermal-work-shirt-black/

They are nice but as time has gone by I still prefer the Iron Hearts. The Rickson's are more sweater like IMO but for the price they are a great buy.

I was looking at some Buzz Rickson stuff via Rakuten and didn't know what to think. There was a lot of licensed military stuff, like Air Force, Skunkworks, etc., but honestly don't know why anyone would pay through the nose for a Buzz Rickson Air Force tee or Skunkworks tee when you can simply buy them from other sources in the US for a fraction of the cost. Mind you, i'm thinking only of the graphic t-shirts and not the other repro stuff they sell. Are BR tees loopwheeled or something, hence the inflated cost? I know licensing will add to the overall price but I guess I don't hold graphic tees in the same category as button up shirts, jeans or jackets. what am I missing?

I don't think your missing anything. I really like their Original Spec Chinos, and have a Herringbone Work shirt, along with a chambray, and they are well crafted. I don't care much at all for must of the stuff with big graphics in the first place, let alone the price.

I have 3 BR pieces: "mock twist chambray", loop wheeled sweatshirt, and a pair of boots. BR has some really nice, and accurate repro stuff... It's just the pricing that kept me away (ESPECIALLY their outerwear pricing).
During my time in Japan, I REALLY stocked up on IH because at that price point, the fabrics and construction (IMHO) just CANNOT be beat. So when I say it was because of BR's pricing, it's NOT that it's too expensive (Outerwear is TOO expensive, point blank... Double the price of Aero?! Yeah right.....); it's that I can get far more durable construction for the same cost.
