Order #3978 placed on May 15 received on June 8. This was to be a 34/34 Cone Mills Indigo x Indigo, but they oversold that size and contacted me. Switched to 13.5oz Candiani Slub near end of May. I'll take measurements when I am home.
At this point I am only waiting on a remade shirt and payment for my work on the website that launched in late October/early November.

RTW ordered
13.5oz Candiani Slub (substitution for Cone Indigo x Indigo) 34 Waist 34 Inseam Straight Fit
Actual measurements: Waist (Gustin method): 17 1/2" Thigh (2" down): 11 1/2" Knee (15" down): 8" Opening: 7 1/2" Inseam: 34"
These are more in line with a Slim Straight and they hug my calves like a pair of Slim Straights I already have from LD. Despite that they are pretty comfy and the denim has a really nice feel.

Well, we almost got each other's jeans. I ordered 36/34 Cone Mills, Slim straight. Received Straight IxI. I'm ok with them, but my understanding is this is going to be a tough denim to fade and was wanting something that would yield some nice fades. Oh well.

The new post offering a special on the 15.2 oz. Cone's is a classic. "As a special throw-back look to our customized option days, this selvedge denim jean features a unique selvedge back pocket detail and front coin pocket detail." - isn't it still the customized option days if there are still open custom orders???

I almost made a similar snarky comment on ig about 'throwback' being a bit of a stretch...but decided it wasn't worth it

I was banned for asking them to please communicate better when they've expended all good will any person should have extended them, so I've stopped logging out to look at their instagram. That unique selvedge detail is hideous, though, and goes against the claim of "no new RTW until custom backlog is cleared in 30-45 days", though. I really wish I could say that I'm surprised.

You will be surprised to know that the shipping label printed on TUESDAY MORNING still has not been shipped. /sarcasm
They, of course, are full of shit over there and simply just printed out a label, giving me a tracking number, to temporarily satiate me. Also predictable: they'd think such a short-sighted ruse would make me go away.

Also predictable: they'd think such a short-sighted ruse would make me go away. On the new site it's stated that they take up to 14 days to ship the order once processed, so that's something. If it's been 14 days I think your best bet is to call them daily until they decide it's important enough to give to the postman. I guess they all ride motorcycles otherwise you'd think they'd pile some stuff into a car and run it over to the post office themselves since they're obviously doing more volume than the postman will take every day.

Is there anyone who works in shipping logistics who can help us understand the timeline requirements for someone to print a shipping label and to fulfill a shipped order? I can't imagine that it goes unregulated. Wow. It's gotten to that point. SMH

This is the procedure as I learned it. They pack the order, generate the label, then put it with all the other outgoing stuff. The postman then picks up as much as he's willing, and those things go out that day. Given what we know of the organization, it should come as no surprise that there seems to be no rhyme or reason to what goes with the postman on any given day. From my understanding, it might cost them more to have a large scheduled pickup, but I really don't know why they don't have the ability to put 200-500 orders in the mail at a time.

Also predictable: they'd think such a short-sighted ruse would make me go away. That's their thing. Say something to get you off the phone, that is neither true nor reasonable. Buys them a couple days to revamp the website or change the business model and blame it on some new logistical issue. I got in this game late (January) and missed the whole kickstarter & first website. I have still seen 4 business models, three factories, 2 websites, and unlimited changes in policy. Finally received my new RTW- ordered 36x32 slim taper. After I ordered I was told that they don't have 36 slim tapers, even though it was offered on the website at that time. Say they'll sew them up for me from an existing RTW. After waiting 2 weeks (and a minor scuff up with LD/CO on IG) I get a shipping notice. Jeans show up 6/17. Have them measured. Come in just right, for a 38x32 Straight. So big that I can pull them down to my ankles while buttoned up. Call, at first they want me to pay return shipping. Then they offer to send return label, say I'll get it by end of business yesterday. Nope. Call back, say I'll get it by end of business today. Nope. What a joke.

In talking with Roman, he said that the Fall line up of RTW would include Shirts made with the heavy (think it was 22oz) Pendlton fabric. Id have a hard time not buying a nice CPO style shirt in that maroon/grey fabric. But it would have to be sub $75

Id have a hard time not buying a nice CPO style shirt in that maroon/grey fabric. But it would have to be sub $75 The thing that disturbs me about this is the very real potential that they will make a ready to wear line out of the fabric they sold as custom shirts back in November/December. This is why I really hope you're wrong that they're not starting shirts for at least another 25 days, as that's about the time they'll need to hand over materials for the RTW shirts. I had a hard time not buying a CPO in the blackwatch wool, so much so that I did, on November 11 or whatever. This wasn't even during a 50% off sale, so I paid full price ($89 at the time) for the shirt that, depending on what you believe, may not be showing up until at least September, if it shows up at all. Silly me, though, I also placed an order for jeans that were maybe the same fabric as the Japan Union Blue, back in December, when the JUB funded at Gustin, figuring I'd see how it goes (since they were still maintaining that things had only been pushed to 16 weeks at that point). I got the Gustin jeans something like four months ago, and haven't yet heard a single goddam thing about the order with Lawless, other than the re-confirmation.
