It's the first time it's happened with my orders. I received two email order confirmations, one for a pair I have, one for a pair I'm still waiting on. A friend of mine who I'd referred the Novemeber sale offer to also received one for the first time as he emailed me this morning thinking it was a dispatch notification ahh. the last batch went out april 16th or 17th. many people reported having gotten them...i definitely shouldn't have used the word 'all'. either way, it seems that they have issues dealing with data migrations triggering unintended messages...adding to the overall confusion of their customer base. Another batch of stuff supposedly went "to the cutting table" on April 16th/17th, it was an order update, not an order confirmation. This is supposed to be normal operating procedure, so different than what happened yesterday.

I got my RTW today.
10.5oz Kaihara, Slim Taper.
They are so comfy, the light denim is very soft and breezy compared to even 14oz and 17oz. I didn't measure but they appear more as a slim-straight, less taper than I expected. I wanted a pretty slim fit.
Currently they are soaking in some warm-hot water to snug up just a bit and become even more comfy.
Only issue I made note of, the button holes. Honestly, I really struggled to get two of the buttons through the holes. I though better of forcing the second because I wanted to be able to take the jeans off at some point in my life...
TL;DR Insane value.

TL;DR Insane value. I had to open up the holes on both my ready to wear (on the green ones I had to actually cut denim), the button holes seemed to be sized for something like a shirt button rather than the donut buttons on the jeans. The "stitched" part of it seems to be about right, though, so I think it's just a machine that needs to be adjusted.

Now I remember.

My friends, I do need your help here. I got the very nice 12 oz. Kaihara Mills Indigo Denim with Cafe Racer leather patch, it fits me perfectly! But after washing it by washing machine, the "Cafe Racer on the leather patch is gone!!! Do you have the same experience? Why the stamped-pattern disappear right away after immersion of water? How to avoid it?

One more thing, I am going to send a email-request to change my pending customized order by RTW jeans. But in the past I sent mails to Khala via info@ldandco.us. At the beginning she really replied me but later she gave me zero response (I do not know why indeed) anymore. Why? Is the "info@ldandco.us" still working well? Do you have Roman's email? Or I post my request on Instagram? How can I contact them effectively?

The only one that sort of survived is the kneeling katana lady, but she's surely gone after one more wash.

Samurai patch on my LD Kuroki black 2×1 twill (black2) It has survived a couple of machine washes. Granted, it was from an old site order, when they were using quality natural veg - tan patches.

Wonder if dyeing or some sun might bring it back out? Or do the Indiana Jones tracing technique and redo the stamp right.

The disappearing patch is part of Roman's genius plan to guarantee exclusivity and build up demand.
Step 1: fulfill orders so slowly that people forget that your jeans exist and no one sees them in the wild
Step 2: the few jeans that are delivered have magically disappearing patches. So, even if they're in the wild, no one knows it
Step 3: ??
Step 4: Profit!

Also, I'm pretty sure that step 3 is: replace all known phone numbers and emails, don't tell anyone, and replace website with new one that requires existing customers to create a new account just to check inaccurate order statuses.
But, I'm not a genius on par with Roman, so I could be very, very wrong.

I have to say, the 10.5oz is really nice, even if I'm not 100% thrilled with the cut.
It's 88 degrees and 95% humidity in Ohio land right now and these jeans aren't unbearably hot. I'd almost say it's comfortable, but not quite.

I finally need to comment on his Ferrari comment.
Ferrari hasn't put out many good sports cars recently besides the 1mil hyper cars. There I said it. The 355 was a POS, the GTO was a horrible front engine waste, the 360 had it's high points but was overshadowed by the gallardo. I love when people say but it's a Ferrari! Those are the same people that will buy one over other great super cars. It took until recently to finally change the belt to a chain!!!! Engine out belt service they are crap! The 348 was mediocre. It's all image. Man they are crap. If you hate money, are sadistic, or need attention a ferrari is for you.

I was happy to get a patch design I like on the my 14 oz ready to wear but it disappeared with a warm soak. Was brown patch. Sounds like the natural patches stay better.

My lawless jeans are now unbranded. Sanded down the buttons? Touché, they are pretty incognito, though now that my patch is blank.
