Please allow 24-48hrs for processing.Being Selvedge Style has a relationship with a few brands I checked in with Roman as there were questions and comments regarding what this means. I saw a few members wondering if old orders will just get cancelled, old orders pushed back more etc. From Roman "The older orders will not be pushed back. This is why I delayed launching the ready wear until the Tucson Factory was up and running. I will not cancel the orders." So the Tucson factory will be for the Ready To Wear. Roman did mention some older custom orders were becoming hard to fulfill for some customers and the refund option seemed like the best route for all. The Ready To Wear would have an expected one week turn around. Will be interesting to see how this works out. Those who order from this please let us know how it goes in this thread. I am tempted myself. |

Wonder what "some orders are hard to fill" means. The quantity, style, returns??
Think I'll call them tomorrow. There's really only one shirt I wanted a CPO in the red Pendlton wool.

So is the "24-48 hrs for processing" because they have custom inseams available on them? So they have them sewed to accommodate a 35in inseam and then finish hem them when an order comes in?
Since we are "Denim Scientists" here always experimenting with things, I am very very tempted to place an order - "in the name of science". Talk me out of it! (or not)

I ordered a pair of RTW yesterday, today the order status is "pending". Will update on how it goes.
I got my first order, and am more than happy. I haven't had time for pics, but will get some up soon.
I didn't mind the wait, and would do it again in a heartbeat. What I received vs what I paid....I'll say it, It was worth the wait. I'm really going to miss the customization options...hope it will return someday when things are going more smoothly.

Totally agree with both points. It was a combination of the half-price offer and (mainly) the customisation options back in those heady November 2014 days that led me to order from Lawless. Having at least received one pair, I'm really glad I did. It's a good feeling knowing you've got a pair of jeans that is quite likely to be one of only a couple of that exact same spec. May even be unique. Still, as long as the construction levels are maintained, $69 for a RTW pair of Lawless jeans is a good deal but it just doesn't have anything like the same appeal as their previous product proposition. |

I'm curious about these new offerings, and the price is right. But, I don't feel like rewarding the company for their behavior. I feel like any future purchases just helps the company justify the poor way they have treated a bulk of their customers. Low price is not justification for me to purchase something at this point. If it were, I'd go back to buying Wranglers or Levis.

They say 24-48 hrs "processing time". What does that mean exactly? Does it mean 2 days max from the time of order until they email you with a tracking #?

well the rtw stuff is now 50% off as well. hopefully they keep things capped to what they can actually produce and don't dig themselves into a similar hole as before...or we may end up seeing a new remake of what LD intends to be in another 6 months.

Well, they've said there are limited quantities, as the factory just opened... So, hopefully there's an inventory tracking system in place

Tempted to jump on the RTW... I feel like I'm on the receiving end of an abusive relationship and in denial. If they had the Candiani Ravens in smaller sizes I'd probably be on it because there's nothing else there right now which I 'need' enough.
e: also, do we know whether the Tucson factory is only doing jeans? Or will they be doing RTW shirting there as well?

Could it be that their inventory numbers are what they expect to have and not what they actually have? LD's problems are self inflicted and frustratingly easy to solve. It just takes a bit of pride swallowing, restraint, and the ability to say "no, we just can't right now." |

geez, I'm a sucker too. Just ordered a couple pairs at $34.50 each. But there won't be any dickering me around this time. I'm giving it 2 weeks, and if I don't have them in hand 2 weeks from today I'm calling the cc company. I'll post updates here as a PSA

I am honestly tempted by the cheap price tag but the last time I paid using Paypal and Paypal has more buyer protection, now Roman knows that, so he discontinue Paypal as a payment option. |
