Much like Nike's Free soles, I completely abhor rocks and stuff getting stuck in nooks & crannies under foot. I'm all for Vibram soles, but not that sole  The Vibram outsole and top-side are the main thing about Suicoke that draws my attention, but I've still yet to pull the trigger on a pair (mostly because finding my size, the largest size they produce, has proven difficult).

Sandals,Flip-flops,Thongs,Slaps,Etc. Or Slippers as they are known in the Hawaiian Islands. I have owned just about every brand imaginable. Scott,Havaianas,Flojos,Rainbow,BilllaBong. list list goes on. But when I was in Hawaii I discovered a brand called Island Slipper. And After buying these a couple years ago I have never looked back. These are the most well constructed pair of "Slippas" I ever owned and also the most comfortable. They form to your feet for a very individual fit. I also have a pair of Birkenstock, Arizona sandals I have owned for ten years or more, but I finely became tired of repairing them. The Island slippers are the ones I wear now when it is just too damn hot to wear shoes. I also like the all terrain tread on the bottom. It is munch better than most other brands that have little or no tread, The Birkenstocks included. I am all about the quality of workman-ship,on the items I purchase. And these fit the bill nicely! The Island Slipper company has many different style combinations, But I went with the classic black full grain leather. Here are some photos of the two pairs I am referring to. And a link the Island Slippers website if anyone wants more information about them. link

Hotspot87 just has to be from Texas, otherwise a very strange sense of humor/style.
