I bought some crocs. Standard black crocs now I'm gonna rock them with sick raws. I was wearing my purple and gold Vikings crocs out in the yard this morning cleaning the chicken coop. I live a stylish and very regal lifestyle. Going off to the Rose Bowl flea market to see what gold I may find...been a while since I hit a great find, but it's always fun to go. Speaking of - if I ever see that fat little turd from "American Pickers" (Frank) I'm going to punch him in his little round face.

@stevekas, last time I looked those have come off of sale, making them pricey. I paid $65 with free shipping. When I get them I'll give my impressions. First time this has happened to me with yoox but the free shipping is apparently the longest route possible, they won't get to me until Friday. They made three stops in Italy alone! Sounds good @61scout. Looking forward to it. If I knew more about the sole material I'd make my own as I do some leatherwork on the side. I may have to give that a shot actually. Please post up when thy get done partying in Italy. The flops had a good time in Europe, stopped in Germany for a few days before they were done. The sole material is harder than I would have guessed, not a lot of cushion. That's ok as I don't do much walking around in them. The leather is hard and stiff but getting broken in and conforming to my foot. Overall really well made.

@61scout, I ordered a pair and I think I ended up paying a lot more than you did, but I do like them. This is the first pair of non Rainbow flops I've had in a long time (other than the endless Walmart cheapies used for destructive duty). Glad to see yours are holding up. I do agree that these things have stiff soles, hopefully that means they won't get huge "foot dents" over time.

Yoox prices can be volatile. I did have an extra 20% coupon also. I've only had el cheapos before so these are much better. I like how the leather straps stretch a little.

It's all true. And the fashion lately is defined by a special sub-type of hipster called lumbersexual. See urbandictionary for Lumbersexual definitions. thankfully I haven't seen that trend here in DC yet. And will probably never see it in Asia. dredging up the past but what the what? the lumbersexual is alive and well in DC. very much so.

I don't know where you hang out, but I haven't seen it in my travels in DC, MD (where gf lives), and VA (where I live and work).

you see them in any of the dc neighborhoods (even gtown on the weekends)...plaid shirts, cuffed jawns, and beards.

I think that lumbersexual thing is made up. definitely not. i actually ditched my beard because there were too many others with the same look. also toned down my wardrobe to be single color basics with few plaids. there's a reason red wing sales are on the rise and duck boots have a wait list...

Officially have been wearing Birk Arizona's. Sorta rough on the feet first few wears. I have been wearing them with socks to break them in. Hopefully they will get more comfortable.

Yes I have been wearing Birks with socks. Shoot me. I wear socks and sandals all the time. Of course, I do it intentionally to annoy people, but hey, we all need hobbies. (actually, I do it because I don't like having sweaty, dirty feet, but don't tell my GF that)
