I guess no one in the snowpacalypse zone will care much to hear that it's going to be 72 in the Phoenix area. It's chilly in the morning, so I still wear heavier denim.  The struggle is real for ickes and I. |

This surprise snow day has turned into an absolute disaster for this area. Two hours and still not home yet from work. Accidents at every hill, and every street is now glazed with ice. Fun. Your storm is heading my way. But I'm good. It's been an easy winter and I'm off to Mexico in a week! don't forget to pack your selvedge jorts and denim thong |

sounds like you dint need the wrx and snow blowers. Let me borrow them. Sure! You can have them for the week and the responsibility of the 8 Apt. buildings fine, just the WRX then. |

Gotdang..only took me 5 hours to get home. An overturned bus wiped out my way home (only took me 2 hours of waiting to found that out), and all the icy local roads made for some seriously horrible slip and sliding. The bright side to all of this is that I finally decided to stop being cheap, and pulled the trigger on 4 winter tires, and a set of chains. Also, these came in in the nick of time =)   Nothing going to be better than Commando Soles for this weather. Especially the impending blanket of snow we're due this weekend. Sigh..the Trubalance Last really is wider than the Barrie Last. My feet are swimming in the width. Going to have to send these back and get a half size down. |

Minus 0.4F here (-18C).
Started wearing the Aero Irvin woho! But the Volvo is actually taking longer and longer to start as the temp drops...it is very dry tho so not too bad and kinda nice when the sun is shining. Im so glad i put in heating under the woodfloor in the kitchen, f!@king-a move from myself yay!

I haven't left the house since I got home early Thursday morning, and don't plan to until next week. I might do a quick 7-11 run, but I don't really need anything. I just started a protein sparing modified diet, and that means no milk or beer for me during the duration of the diet. Just meat, veggies, protein shakes, and fiber bars, which I have plenty of at home. Hope this is just another error by the forecasters. |

I just saw a report about 40" of snow recorded in Glengary, WV , which is roughly 100 miles northwest of D.C.

I honestly think 40" might be understating it. At least visually, I don't know how they properly measure anything, but if I go outside right now, I could probably take a tape measurer and it'll be at least 48" of snow on my driveway, and it's a straight slope to the street. Snow shoveling tomorrow is going to be a lot of fun..

It's 50 degrees out today and it's going to be warmer tomorrow. Weirdest February in a long time -- but I'm not complaining, I haven't had to shovel a crapload of snow yet.

67f Last day at Disney World. -10f home in Minnesota so I won't complain at all. It has been 40's-60's the whole time. Has been leather jacket weather. My jacket has hit all the parks. I will not get Mickey painted on the back though.  View from our room today.  |
