I'm thinking of going for it with my Loomies and doing the @stevekas method of wearing them while I soak in the tub...I'll even bring three beers with me: ).

Bring protein shakes. lol...I drank one a bit earlier so I'm good. Yeah it might be crazy but I tend to throw caution to the wind all too often . I've taken the week off of work and the gym so I am in full on relax f!@k it lets get drunk and be stupid mode this week...I usually do this once a year since I bust my ass the other 51 weeks out of the year. It's like my personal college spring break Mardi Gras week. I'm soaking them cold so hopefully these loomies will work for me.

I'm having the problem with my upper body getting bigger. Hard time fitting into a few shirts now. Time to cut body fat and stop drinking.

If the legs aren't too slim and you can get the waist buttoned, you'll be golden.

I need 37 straights for loomies. Should shrink down to a 35.5" then back to 37" waist.

so operation Loomstate 14 appears to have been very successful. The cookie sheet in the waist while drying worked like a charm. I tried them on this morning after drying all night (holy cow were they stiff!) and the waist actually stretched out bigger than they were pre soak. Pre soak they were 33.5" in the waist, post soak they are 34.5", success!!
These things are really cool, they really do fit like a glove. It actually might take me a bit of getting used to because the fit is so second skin like right now. I dont mean that in a bad way like I'm trying to squeeze myself into a pair of skinny jeans, I mean it in a good way as in they feel contoured to my body. At a 34.5" waist they button up with ease and are comfortable on the waist although I'm hoping I can get another. 5" of stretch.
I went with a straight fit and I am very glad I did. After the soak they fit like a mix between a straight and a slim. They have the rise of a slim which when standing up looks great on the old gluteus maximus, but when sitting or squatting it feels like my ass is sticking out. I can live with this though. Thigh fits like a straight and below the knee tapers a bit somewhere in between a straight and slim while the cuff opening is damn near perfection, again coming in somewhere between a slim and straight.
Now for the fabric...it kicks ass, plain and simple. Hard to do it justice with words and my potato cam but it's f!@king awesome. They have the Japanese texture thing going on like the Okayamas do but it is much more lively, almost as if it's three dimensional. There are little neps sticking through sporadically but they aren't white like they are on most neppy fabrics, they are Indigo neps. This is ridiculously cool because you see them but you don't really realize they are neps because they are Indigo so the visual you get from that is added texture and life. Only upon closer inspection do you see they are little neps. The weight of the fabric is about perfect too. Not too heavy but not too light, sweet spot baby.
As others have stated I would not recommend going with a slim on these unless you like a skinny fit with a super low rise. If you go with a straight fit you'll basically end up with a straight fit with a lower rise and smaller cuff opening. Or another way to put it would be a roomier slim fit.
I love these. Yes, I am probably in the midst of a bit of a Honeymoon delirium type state right now, but honestly if I had to recommend one pair of Gs to anyone and everyone it would be the Loomstates. These things are awesome. I will definitely back another pair when they come around again.

I tried them on while wet, and bent my knees. Knee bagging is a major bummer. Rookie mistake.

ickes one of the best parts is yet to come - they fade like the mythical japaneese aswell meaning white on the wear, perfect blue in between and dark almost black inside the creases. After a wash (in a year) they look so beautiful! mattlisted how about just dipping the knees in warm water and let them dry completely? I have never done it, but might work?

Glad to hear it ikes! re: kneebags - mattlisted how much did you move around in them? It was said above not to even bend your knees while getting out of the tub if you are going to do a shirk-to-fit. Is that enough to blow out the knees? I wore mine in the tub. I bent my knees getting out. It's nearly impossible not to! But I laid flat on the couch while they dried. Don't know if I got some knee bag going on. Don't really care if I do.

Loveseat Well, I dunno what you all are doing but I just lay mine in the tub (without me...Im on the couch drinking beer) then after 40mins I put them on and "walk" to the couch and lay there opening my 3d beer. I have never had any problem getting them on wet (apart from a special icky feeling). I usually place 2 dark thick towels on the sofa and seems to work.

Does anyone's girlfriend think they are weird, crazy, obsessed and possibly gay because they care about fashion and jeans so much?

Extra loomies in the stock section! Today lurking has yielded me Grey Silks and Loomies, I don't know if my wallet can take any more

What kind of couches do you guys have where you can just lie on them in soaking wet pants? Cheap ones, from Ikea, with towels placed on them.
