Thanks FourHorsemen! I think I'm gonna go with the 37 slims and stuff my pants during the soak LOL! Yeah, with the zoomies (37 slims which I didnt keep), the top block was a little tight unsoaked. I just can't get over the hem for the straights, I want a 7.5" hem and the straight 36s come in at 9.25 which is much too large for me.

Hey Guys,
I could use a hand with sizing for the loomies that they just ran and closed in the past 24 hours. In my wardrobe my best fitting pair is currently a Skull 5010XX in waist size 33. They fit me very well.
I also have a pair overdyed indigo PBJ at waist size 34 which are perhaps a bit lose on me but that texture is just unbeatable.
What I want to know is what would you guys recommend I purchase for the loomies? I currently have my order in for a 36 based on measuring my skulls at ~17 inches across the waist (and multipled by 2) + 2 sizes based on the gustin sale page...
I do prefer a more fitted look on my denim (not to be confused with skinny emo look...just nice and tapered down the length of the leg and very little extra fabric in the seat.
What do you guys think? should i stick with 36 slims or go down to the 35s? appreciate any help i can get.
Cheers!

Although wearable and comfortable, they fit more like a 30 Skinny and took a bit of time to break-in. In hindsight, I would have probably done a 31 Straight, as I like the fit around the top, but feel the calves are just a tad tight. If you're between a 33 and 34, I'd suggest you go with a 35 Slim or 35 Straight.. this is just based on projection from my experience, so take it for what it's worth =P

Thanks for the advice. I will just add one more bit of information here - I am tall and skinny.
I am 6ft 4 and I weigh about 155lbs...
with that bit of knowledge if you had to take a stab at either 35 or 36 slims which would it be?

I'm sure somebody else with first-hand experience will chime in, but the general recommendation, if you're not looking for a skinny look, would be to size up 2-3, and go with the Straight rather than Slim. The two biggest reasons for this would be the rise and the taper below the knee, whereby the medium to low rise of the slim becomes a undoubtedly low rise, and calves will shrink up once they touch water making your slim fit more of a "skinny emo look".

wisdom can you show me the fit on your 31 slims after the break in? i had a went through a reasonable break in with the PBJ and it really didnt bother me at all (they were pretty stiff at the start though...) id just like to see how the slims look after a bit of wear!

If I remember I will measure them when I get home and give you the exact measurements. Haven't been worn after the soak so no restreching has occurred. Ill keep you posted.

Mine was 38, came in 36,6. I bitched about it abit then I hotsoaked and dryed with a stick at 17,5" in the buttoned waist. They are my best fitting pair. You will need that stick after every wash tho, so think about if you want that. However I have the first run and I think I only washed them like 3-4 times so its not often you need it. Basically if you can button them now, it might work out, if not then its game over. Apetizers:

Oh I can definitely button them.
I lost a bit of weight recently so they are still a bit loose on me.
I'm complaining on principle LOL.
