I'll likely go on another spending freeze, or at least try to. The IHSH-130 was my most recent purchase but I honestly have not been tempted by anything, despite the buttloads of Black Friday deals

Start small, 1 month then buy something then go 3 months. I've found it totally cured my impulse buys. It's made me focus on what's needed but also refine what I may want.

One more month to go. But I did Fail I bought a pair of sneakers (come on, a pair of $350 Rancourts for $100. Couldn't pass them up) Also bought 3 Shirts from TS (red buffalo plaid, blue terry cloth, blue corduroy). I think I may give this another go. Last purchase was the TS shirt back in December. I think I can do it this time!

I'm moving along pretty good in to my No Spend... Thinking of a way to spin my "no spend" and still keep my love of fashion..... Keep it up, man! I've been trying to focus more on thoughtful/creative (read: not just going to the low hanging fruit of past outfits, but trying new to me ideas) combinations, while also improving my eye for setting up photos etc. Its a creative outlet were I can play with the stuff I have and not just acquire MOOOORE!!! So, I guess I'm telling you to take more photos and keep us posted on how your approach is growing/maturing...cause I'm know I'm not the only one that appreciates (read: I get inspiration from) your One of a Kind style!

So, that was my plan, per se.....
I got off of Instagram to pull away from the "Ooooh! Look at THAT!" and "That's NICE! I want it!" mindset... But, I do still feel I need some fashion inspiration to get the most out of what I have currently and ways to wear it all. Sooooo, I'm thinking of starting up an Instagram account documenting what I have, how I wear it, and how it all evo's over the length of my "no spend" journey.
Thing is, I'd have to get out the house and take pics in interesting places and all that kind of junk... No more hallway mirror iPhone selfies, lol

Hell yeah, please do. And your past pics worked just fine. You'll improve as you grow, just don't wait for all the stars to align, but get going, lol You can always delete old posts later if they're bringing down your current asthetic.

I found IG pics can make just about anything look good. Maybe wear a Lions mask

I got off of IG as well. If this forum wasn't bad enough when it came to enabling, IG was 10x worse because I looked at feeds everyday. the want list kept piling up and it certainly wasn't helping me when I had to decide between buying things I need versus things I want.

I'm back on IG as @purposelyeffortless... I would have gone back to my old moniker, "@theuntuckedgentleman", but one of me friends in the 'pride community's told me it sounds like a drag queen that doesn't hide their junk, lol!
Back to Instagram fulfills my fashion inspiration void, and I want to try to spin some free hear out of it as well... MANY people have done it, and maybe I can too... Free hear doesn't break the "No Spend", right?

If you want to be an influencer just make sure you have tons of pictures of yourself fixing your cuffs and pulling up your socks.

Yeah, I think the hipster name is probably the single most important detail about a successful IG account, lol

Thing is, now I'm into fleshing out the seasonal wardrobes and there are still spots open for various seasonal purposes. For example, I almost pulled the trigger on a Rancourt pair of trial shoes for the 1967 Loafer. But I have a pair of Yuketen mocs I bought last year in the fall that have yet to see a season's worth of wear...... www.rancourtandcompany.com/men-s/loafers/1967-venetian-loafer.html

Hehe, been shopping for another pair of warm weather jeans and your last comment reminded me of the RgT pocket bags. Whats the weight on those? I have been having the same thoughts about summer denim and I just saw G released the 11oz cone. If you buy that pair I want to see the after shot where "Bentin" has been scrawled in Sharpie on the name space.

I have been having the same thoughts about summer denim and I just saw G released the 11oz cone. If you buy that pair I want to see the after shot where "Bentin" has been scrawled in Sharpie on the name space. They make the Striders in the new proprietary 15.25oz denim and the old 14.5. They also had a hemp blend when they first came out. I own a pair of Stanton 11oz that are my go to summer jeans. I'd prefer SK's though if sticking with RgT. Cultizm has a pair of the old Overdyed 14.5oz left, but I just realized they're tonal, so out. But the current wishlist is long and unfocused. It includes PBJ XX019, Samurai S0511xx, 3Sixteen CT-120xk Kibata and RgT SK Dark. I need to focus this down, but not really in this thread.

Quick "fix" during my no-spend...
Back in September, I bought an "Indigo 12oz Selvedge Denim Hunters Vest" from the SPECIALS section of IHUK, for a mere $90. Instead of having it delivered straight away, I chose the "Stack" option, thinking that I would surely buy something else soon, so I could save money by shipping them together. Well, long story short, I never did order something else, and I forgot about the vest until a few days ago as I was browsing extinct items on the IHUK website. I just paid the $30 UPS shipping, and I should have my vest soon.
I didn't buy the vest, so I'm still good in my no-spend!!!
