No spend has been broken... Just realized it.
Bought a pair of used IH-801's for $50 shipped on the IH forum. They were just so cheap, and so beaten up, I couldn't resist! They're the pants in my WAYWT pic...
Worth it though! Definitely a steal at that price. But, I will continue to GREATLY scrutinize non-essential "fashion" purchases for the remainder of the year. This will not be an excuse to open the flood gates.

*Forgot to update.... I bought a second-hand Mister Freedom Okinawa Patrol Shirt from Davito for $250.....
Has me at a grand total of $300 so far this year.
Definitely no more spending for a while. Just got my offer letter for a new job here in England, so it's time to pack up and move again!

Thinking about doing this. I don't need anything. Anything I buy now is just either vanity, impulse, a chasing after the wind. I already have some really nice stuff and want to put some time in them. And I really just want to simplify my life. O,g , that me!...good luck. |

Update:
Just purchased the IHSH-179 "Kanreki Shirt". Puts me at 3 purchases for the year.
I know off of the top of my head that I will be making 1 more purchase definitely, and maybe another. Will keep everyone posted

So, to compile and close out my attempt at the "1 Year No Spend"...
I didn't make it, but I did spend FAR LESS on clothing than I have for the past 4 years prior. Here's the (rather short) list of what I bought for the year:
Used IH-801 ($50)
Used MF Okinawa Patrol Shirt ($250)
IHSH-179 Kanreki shirt ($295)
IHM-09 N-1 Deck jacket($500)
IHSH-189 "The UnTucked" ($300)

$1395
Not bad... ESPECIALLY considering that I more than succeeded with my "1 in, 1 out" plan...
Looking at my PayPal account, I moved $2366.80 worth of clothing this year, so in actuality I balance out to a grand total of +$971.80 for the year.
