I'm ok with whatever Ciano feels he needs to charge for his product - he puts out quality and I understand he has to make a living too. I support businesses like his and he's a super nice guy too, so that doesn't hurt! I don't have a lot of Ciano gear yet, partially due to the wait - but I'm planning to get custom patterns made for several products of his in the near future. I plan to just order and let it slip my mind!

Agreed with all the above.
It was fun when he was around, and he is a hoot to talk to on the phone.

So I talked to CF yesterday finalizing a couple orders. He said that there is a new car coat coming soon.
He also said to pass this along to you guys. I talked to him for like 10 minutes. I very much enjoy the few conversations I have had with them.

I've just ordered some chinos. Ciano has been very responsive and helpful via email. For what seems like a high-quality MTO pair of trousers $74 is ridiculously good value. Who knows when I'll get them though! I only need them for September or so (next autumn) so I am not in any hurry. However, as soon as I get a payday I am getting a car coat (and another pair of chinos if I like the first pair, which i expect to).

Called 3 times over the past 3 months and was told I'd have then by the end of next week each time. Called last week and yesterday,no answer and no call back.

The fabric looks much brighter in that pic than my swatch does. I guess it would lighten up when fading though. Let me know how it is because I might just want to get a pair myself... not sure how much wear it would get though. Except I think he just doubled the price of the wabash. So I got olive drab twill and the olive denim swatches. Did anyone find out if the olive denim is really 12.5 oz, because it feels even thicker than the wabash. I heard someone say they recognized the denim from another brand that used it and it was said to be more like 14.5oz which feels about right. Can't decide between the two, but I would do the denim in jeans and the twill in chinos. Your right, it does look lighter made up than in the roll.
Yeah, he was talking about raising prices. I got that pair in under the price increase and I also have a pair of the 23oz on order and I see those went up as well.
You say you have the drab twill, so thats the light one?
Your looking at the Moss swatch? I don't see a drab. I was thinking about getting a pablo made in the Olive but cannot decide if I want copper or Ivory stitching on it. Am also contemplating Olive Moss with Navy stitching......

@ furu
Thanks for the fabric update. I have to call those guys anyways and figure out my jacket order, maybe I should just select my fabric from the 18oz varieties.

Yep, I'm equally impaired about posting that too.
Ciano came by my house, picked up my Anniversary jeans and repaired them and sent them back. Hard to beat that for customer service.

I just spoke to CF last week. I'm waiting on a pair of 23oz Heavy Japanese Indigo Pink Selvage and was inquiring about my order. I also wanted to firm up some details about getting a Pablo jacket ordered but have been dragging my feet on that for months due to not being thrilled with the fabric selection. If you follow their IG, they are moving to a better production facility. I IG followed their work shirt vendor Ballad of the Bird Dog and just noticed that the work shirts are in their web store. No sizing info though so kinda hard to buy. They need to fix that. (add a sizing chart, I dont see one on CF site or BoBD site)
