I'm really keen to see Ciano move into shirts, but I just don't see where he'll get the time when the jeans orders keep flooding in.

Wait...you're telling me a successful small start-up denim company found workers to help sew up the orders in a state that's not known for denim production? And he didn't blame the local government and anyone else? He found a solution and didn't abandon the demand? Wow. Common business sense. Got to love it. |

I'm getting my secret and Texas denim back today. I sent them in for repairs took 4 weeks but Ciano said they only do repairs on Sunday after church. So that is understandable. I just placed an order for a field jacket in Lot #3 Texas Denim. I'm not expecting it until July which doesn't matter because it will be to warm for a jacket here in PA in a few weeks. My invoice did say about 10-12 weeks to complete your order.

Called them a couple weeks ago to follow up and make sure they actually got the order and they said they were completed but it'd be a couple more days...I'm sure they're getting killed with all the orders, but still haven't seen the shipping notice yet. |

I bought my CF gear early on, so I was fortunate to get my stuff quite quickly. I figured that they would get much busier after seeing the quality, along with darn good pricing, plus the good reviews here. I know from conversation with Ciano, that they have tried bringing help into the fold, but it is much easier said than done, and the people they have tried couldn't cut the mustard. |

i have been talking with a company here near us..SEWPRO..in Sugarland Texas...i think they will help us get our production times down to 8-10 weeks. and eventually down to 6-8 weeks
also we are going to offer up "SHELF ITEMS" on items that are our top sellers..like the canvas chinos..but the price will be alot more for at once delivery...
these item will be available around the end of June begin of July..i hope this works......

Ciano has been trying to arrange a situation where he cuts and finishes, but someone else with more extensive resources handles the brunt of the sewing, but it sounds like it has been a struggle. It sounds like he may have found someone to sew in Texas, though the details on that have been pretty limited thus far. I think the best way to put it is that the wait is longer than anyone wants it to be, but the product is generally living up to its promise. |
