I'm waiting since November....I think he prioritizes certain products that he likes and thrown the others on the back burner. Not optimal. That wait seems unusual. Have you tried calling him? No, I e-mailed about a week ago, but no response. I'll call one of these days. |

First - I like these Guys and think the products they make at top notch. And have faith I'll get my canvas pants.
But ... I have to admit it kind of rubs me the wrong way to see on the site that current order production are 11-13 weeks.
I get the need for revenue. But I'd rather see an increase in price to slow down orders and catch up on back orders.
Sorry, just kind of tired of over waiting and not recieving (some times ever),

UPDATE for my order ... just talked to Ciano yesterday, they just returned back to their shop due the river near the office was flooding and Ciano & Co were not allowed to get back to the office (too dangerous).
Beside this backlock, they need to work on a lot of packages held at the post office to be shipped (due to the flood), these all need to be re-stamped to assure a proper delivery.
OK, I see and feel for all who wait, but Ciano did answer the phone although he cannot answer eMails (too many), do not compare to the story we all know about (LD).
I will get my goods, any time soon and my waittime was around 16 weeks ... too hot to wear the 23oz jeans anyway.

Hi all, I am just wondering how long on average will the wait be?
Currently I am interested to get a pair of chino, if it's good maybe a secret denim jacket after the chino.
But not sure about the wait and with the recent Lawless incident...

But not sure about the wait and with the recent Lawless incident... CF must cringe when they're put in the same sentence as that Fraud! I don't think CF is anything like LD. They seem like Hard Working Guys making a good go at making a business. Being a new upstart, Floods, high demand/growing pains, expanding into other products to keep our interest, etc ..... I feel like they may be getting Swamped in more ways then one. At this point it's more of a question on how much do you want to "invest" in them and what Value do you put on the product, price, time. To get a product at 1/2-1/3 the price but have to wait 4+ months (that's what I'm at now but not expecting anything for another 2 months) may or not may not be a good Value. |

2 items result in double wait time? I don't know, have not heard anything since.
This is a lot of pressure for a 2-man-show ... hope they can find partners or employees to step-in..... and hope TX makes this easier than CA (pun intended).

I have a jeans from C.F; Ciano really hand-made good jeans. I want to place the 2nd order.
But if C.F. can let us know how many orders approximately are still working (or waiting), it will give more positive response for current customers or return customers.

Oh, so we can say negative things about the board's darling, Ciano Farmer, without public floggings now? Even though the fit was all jacked up and the service was bad times for me, I will say that his jeans are the best made I have. Look well made and durable while folded up in my closet.
