LOL they just won't stop Guess they don't really want to waste that money for the affiliate program best start banning member from commenting, lol. What happened? *shrugs* commented on a guy wanting to snag up a shirt, pretty much told him be wary on patterns of late and that if nothing comes in wrong *cross fingers* you should be fine. This got two guys all butthurt on the forum that I was negative. For me forums are homes of sorts but meh they are not thread owners so i was not hearing much of it. Guess they complained or gustin finally is flexing its affiliate program purchase at style forum and is messing with me viewing/commenting on their official affiliate thread. The amount of social engineering going on with them jeeze, just make good products guys.

I believe Styleforum charges vendors $6K-10K+ a year on having a affiliate thread. A big investment for any smaller companies.

I don't deny i have made "troll arguments" before maybe in another place. I thought I was pretty on topic with the oxford advice. as he asked about the shirts.

More than just yeckel has brought up issues with patterend shirts it's nothing new. Maybe Gustin just hates Jason yeckel.

Maybe Gustin just hates Jason yeckel. i'm not disagreeing with the commentary on the price, only pointing out what likely led to people feeling that he was trolling...basically agreeing with your 2nd point. i think G and others will usually feel a bit bristly about yeckel. right, wrong, or other...

HA, no I just think it shows they didn't know how best to deal with customers at first I think the major changes to the duffle bag proved my early complains of the bag. They went though now two iterations in order to fix the design mistakes. I would like to see them have an evolution of the jean cuts, offer a premium version at a higher price with more accoutrements. www.reddit.com/r/rawdenim/comments/2p48ts/nf_summer_2015_natural_indigo_loomstate/cmt7jxu for those who missed that one.

Would it kill G to just run the placket at 45 (or 46) degrees? I'd like to back some of the recent heavy twills or flannels, but I dont trust their sew shop to come close to getting them aligned, so I've passed. Shame, recent drops have been really nice, but their sewing quality keeps me away. A simple shift in design to a rotated placket would seem to fix their current issue, no? I know not everyone likes an angled placket, but since G gives us no choice, why not intentionally angle it?

I've read the new hardware on the charcoal and black duffles are cheap and flimsy.

i backed the zimb 15s the other day around the same time as i was having an email exchange with Ren about the chino delays. when he asked me if there was anything else he could do for me i took the opportunity to ask him to send me a natural veg tan patch for the zimbs. he had said they're now spec'd to get a brown patch, but he did toss one into the mail for me, which arrived today. of course i won't get the zimbs for several months, but i'm happy to have the choice of which patch i want to use.

Son of a bitch! My Black Friday cone blacks showed up today and the fit/fabric is perfect but there are three pretty serious material flaws. I mean they look like seconds from Marshall's. A run in the fabric is a big no no. Don't keep them. They will get worse.

LMAO I did miss that Hahaha Damn, so did I. N&F came strong with that post. Especially fitting since two of my three G denim orders have come in with sizing or quality errors.

Naked and famous with an awesome post. Explaining other ways to keep price down besides crowd funding or buying cheapo fabric. Shots fired.

Those will look worse after washing.

Those will look worse after washing. Right, it's painfully obvious. You'd put them back on the shelf at a store for sure. They are by far the closest to the fit guide of the three pairs I've ordered so far, so at least there's that.

It's the reddit thread posted a few up. Gustin makes a comment then n&f comes back. G can easily beat N&F on price because of its model selling direct to the customers even N&F has the economy of scale. The issue with G is I don't feel it is passing the saving to us and keep the price down. When the prices between the two companies are closed, I will definitely go with N&F because of no wait and easy return. N&F normally has better price when they are on sale. Beside my Lawless and Ciano, my last three pairs are all N&F.

Props to Gustin/Cody for making it right. He said to keep the jeans and gave me a full credit to back something else. These will make some swanky garage/yard work jeans.
