Gotcha. When I mean by I don't think I can pull it. I mean the color. Never had a pure blue pair. It does look great though. I get where you are coming from. They may start darker, but they fade quickly. Honestly, if you've ever worn black denim, or navy chinos, you can pull these off until they fade. That's the thing. Never worn black or owned a pair of chinos.

Brand new 12's look like awful dad jeans. Worn 12's are awesome. This also applies to just about any pair of jeans though, which is why I'm down to three pairs in rotation now. Lol DAD jeans. I agree with you on that part though. That's why I'm so hesitant.

The color alphatectz? What do you mean? Are these and IndigoxIndigo denim? (sorry haven't been following too closely) Also, unfortunately (or fortunately for my wallet) PBJ still doesn't make a cut that will suit me. Even the new cut is off for me...seems to be too much taper from what I've seen. Yeah these are the indigo x indigo "pure blue" I'm hopping that these will fit smoothly. Going to Blue in Green tomorrow morning. Already have 2 pairs put aside for me.

I was thinking the same. But can I pull it off though. Here's another example..... Indigo is indigo... it fades. Wear it, wash it, and it looks like this. If you can't pull this off...you might as well sell all your denim. Gotcha. When I mean by I don't think I can pull it. I mean the color. Never had a pure blue pair. It does look great though.

So looks like I'll be going with the xx-012. I'm kind of hesitant though, wanted the xx-011, but blue in green doesn't have my size. Guess I'll try the xx-012 tomorrow once I'm at the store. I'll send some fit pics. The left hand twill 011 is a nice choice. But, from what I've seen, you've got a good amount of indigo warp/white weft denim, already. The indigo/indigo 012 would be a great change of pace. I was thinking the same. But can I pull it off though.

So does anyone know which style is a slim tapered, and where can I purchase them in NYC? Here are 2 PBJ resources that can give you most of the info you need to know..... PBJ wikiReddit PBJ brand spotlightPBJ wiki hasn't been updated since December 2014. So, newer releases, like the AI-003, XX-019, and 1133 are not mentioned, but the majority of models are. The Reddit spotlight is from January 2014. Off the top of my head, I can think of 7 models with the slim tapered fit: XX-011 Left Hand Twill XX-012 Deep Indigo(indigo warp and weft) XX-013 Original Indigo(heavy slub) XX-014 Purple Face XX-017 Cobalt Weft XX-020 Pop-up Denim(indigo warp/blue core weft) AI-003 Hank dyed 18oz heavy slub denim Edit: As others have stated, if you want to see them in person, in NYC, Blue In Green is the place to be. This helps a lot.

So I wasn't able to sell my 14oz, but I was able to get them tailored to my liking from a friend of a friend that use to work for nudies for 10+ years. Both pairs should be ready soon. I'll post the before and after photos once I get them back.

Lol, I wear all my Raws everyday. Besides the 2nd pairs that I own. It sounds like you change costume more every day than Britney Spears does in concert. Lmao

I set up an appointment with them. Certainly interesting, and the price isn't too far above retail, for something handmade with a guaranteed good fit. I had to bring mine back in since I notice the rear end was a bit to saggy, but that was my mistake when we did the fitting. I totally forgot to check the back.

What's the harm in open competition? Run what you brung. We just can't allow alphatectz since he has two pair of everything. Sure, these started out new... Lol, I wear all my Raws everyday. Besides the 2nd pairs that I own.

Are they willing to make pairs without that weird back pocket stitching? I believe so. I like the stitching though.

Little bit longer with 32 inches. I don't like a clean break in my jeans. I like having a bit of material fold on the lower legs of whatever shoe or boot I am wearing. I agree. I actually don't mind a 33.5 inseam, but it irks me when I was told that the raws are a 35 inseam. I still can do a double fold (slim cuff) on my 33.5 inseams and still have a decent amount of stacking, but I like my 3/4 cuff folds better.

So when I began my raw / selvedge denim binge. I learned that getting your true size inseam is a no go. Lately I've been getting either a 34-36 inseam, but I noticed that 2 pairs of my raws (same brand) are actually a 33.5 and a 32 inseam. (When I purchased them. I was told they were a 35 inseam, so I'm currently emailing the brand to see if I can switch the unworn pair for another pair, but with a 34 inseam) I'm guessing the 33.5 is fine, but I'm worried that they will run short after I break them in.
So what size inseam do ya get? True to length size or do you go 2 inches longer?

So here are a few fit pics. I find it weird when I walk in the rear end. Feels like there's to much Denim there (if you zoom into the last photo you can see what I mean) It might just be me. Other than that I like how they look and feel. In my limited experience, new denim can feel kinda weird at first. Rightly or wrongly, I attribute it to the starch which holds creases somewhat unnaturally against your body. Once the starchiness goes away (either with a soak or with time) the denim will lay against your body a bit more. #trusttheprocess That's true. Guess time will tell. I might give these a good soak in a week or two.

I see. How old is he (I know you stated it in the OP) my son and daughter try to test me and my wife. We are learning just to calm them down or put them on timeout until they are calm. He's 3.5 almost 4 Sounds about right. He's at that stage. The terrible 3s / 4s. My son is finally whining down, but my daughter is handful.

You should have a talk with his mother. She has to lay down the rules and not give in to what your son wants or wants to do. she actually does lay down rules. to be clear, she doesn't take him to stores like I do. i'm trying to do the same things my son does with his mom, like go out sledding, or go to an indoor gym. it's mainly to get him tired so he'll nap. I think our son is at a stage now where he's testing boundaries with both of us. my ex told me the other day that our son peed on the wall in her bathroom, whereas, he's never done this with me. I see. How old is he (I know you stated it in the OP) my son and daughter try to test me and my wife. We are learning just to calm them down or put them on timeout until they are calm.
