says Indigo in the description. I seen, but wasn't sure from the photos. Plus I'm uncertain back how they measure.

I just picked up the XX-011 (Lefthand Twill's) to complete my recent bucket list item (unsanforized and LHT). Grabbed a pair from Blue Owl. Granted, Denimio had a one wash for cheaper, but I had a good experience with Blue Owl on my Tanuki's and their recommendations on sizing have been spot on. I really want to soak and dial in these raw XX-011's myself. I really like the near-grey weft on these. I'll post-up some pics when these arrive this weekend. Sounds good. Looking forward to the photos. Also keep us posted on how the soak goes.

The first wash or two actually tend to make things look darker as the weft tends to get a little indigo transfer. Wear is your best way of knocking out indigo, hence patience. Thx.

Quick question. I'm debating about soaking my other pair of bravestar so they can be somewhat lighter compared to the ones I currently have on. I'm just going to do a cool or cold soak. About 20-30mins with a little woolite. What do ya think? What do you mean by "lighter"? If they are pretty new or even the same as you have on in the pics above, you may not need the woolite. If you're going for a little shrink/tightening of the denim, you can probably accomplish it with 20-30 min soak in the tub, cold water. I'm not sure which Bravestar fabric you have, but some of those Cone's are a little stubborn at first. Beautiful once they break in. I have the Ironside jacket in 13.5 w/brown weft and it's probably my most responsive Cone fabric in terms of quicker fades. The 2nd pair is the same as the one I had on. Not trying to shrink them just wanted it to look a bit different such as a lighter indigo. I figure if I soak them some of the Indio will come off so it can look a tad bit lighter.

Just got my brave stars back from the tailor. All I have to say is wow! They look so much better now. Since I got both pairs tailored to become a slim tapered fit. I'll keep both pairs, but I'm planning on soaking the other pair so it can look somewhat different. Also I might need to send them out to Railcar so they can adjust the waist for me. The 36 needs to be a 35.

I bought the Norelco 5100 beard trimmer the other day. dialed the setting in too short and damn near shaved off all of the hair on my face. back to square one. I have the older version of this. I learned my lesson about the settings when I first got it lol

I know, I'm liking it all. Need to see if those new raws from rgt are sanforized or unsanforized. Also need to see where I can see and try them on in person.

I can't speak to the quality of the hemp blends but I'm guessing they're decent. Hemp is a very strong fiber which should make them long lasting. Although, they're only 10oz so that may effect their longevity. From personal experience, I own a pair of Left Hand Twills and regular indigos and they're decent for what I paid. I got them both on Fleabay for around $50/60 each. when you consider price points and the fact that they use Japanese denim exclusively i'd say their jeans are good bang for your buck. However, i've noticed some of their more exclusive offerings edging up in price to around the $200 mark. I'd never pay full retail for any of their core denim but could be persuaded to buy some of their more unique offerings. i'd wait for the hemps to go on sale somewhere. Thx

N&F did a hemp blend denim a few yrs ago. although, I don't know if it was a heavier denim. short answer, they've done it before I noticed that they like to repeat there stuff, but how is the quality of there raws? I'm interested in the Hemp or the Green Tea ones.

I was on a raw rampage. Don't know what I was thinking, but I know that extra money I spent on those 2nd pairs could of went to other brands instead. You live and you learn. yeah, that's a lot of cash spent on denim just to sit in the closet. hopefully you can recover some of it. Indeed, I'll take the loss on losing most of the funds since I'm selling them at a discounted rate.

Here are the photos of each pair of denim. Sorry for the bad order. As you can see 3 pairs are brand new with tags. Which are both Levi's and the left Field. The Raleigh have been used 3 times which includes the initial try on. None of them have been soaked washed or altered in anyway. The brave stars aren't posted since I haven't picked them up from the tailor yet. Now as for prices: Brand new w/ tags Left Field retails for $240, BIN is $165 Brand new w/ tags Both Levi's retail for $128, BIN is $75 each pair. 8.5(9)/10 condition Raleigh Denim workshop retails for $285, BIN is $145. Each price includes shipping and the PayPal fee which is 4%. Please let me know If you are interested. If so shoot me a PM with your PayPal info and I will send you the PayPal invoice. Thank you. (FYI I will also be posting this on Reddit tomorrow.)

Yeah, I abused my first pair of Gustins, which I got in a straight fit, with hot washes and dries to try to slim them down. Knocked nearly two inches out of the inseam. Beware that a few Japanese brands unsanforized denims can end up under 33" after a hit soak. I figured a size down not 2 though, I prefer sanforized so I won't have that issue.

Ageeed. My hemmed jeans all have different inseams anyway. Both because of different fits and because everything shrinks a little in inseam with washes. I'm aware that each inseam will shrink after the initial wash and so on. That's why I I get them a 34-36 length.

measuring is definitely an objective way to gather data, but if you're talking about in store visits...why not try them on which should give you the best understanding of how the specific pairs will fit on your build I do try on all of my raws. What went wrong w/ the Raleigh was when I first purchased them. I got them a size down and the length was long and seemed to be a 35, but I had to exchange them for a 36. I should of checked the inseam.

Since I first started my binge. I never really checked out any of the inseams on all of my raw selvedge... I just took the sales persons word. After my experience with Brooklyn Denim Co (when I purchased my Raleigh's) I learned not to listen to what any sales person says. So now I carry a tape measure when I go out and purchase any Selvedge Raws.
Now I can measure the inseam properly myself at the store., yes I know I can ask the store to measure them for me, but will they honestly tell me that the inseam is shorter than what it's supposed to be? I doubt it. They just want the sale.

STF is Shrink to Fit, aka Unsanforized. I just looked it up. The tag never mentioned STF either. Just white oak cone and 100% cotton.

I live in Texas and have 11oz RgT and 22oz Oni. I also have a pair of olive 20oz Oni and 20oz Ciano in rotation. Curious about the upcoming 12oz Oni or the 14oz OD Iron Hearts if they come in Self Edge's 633 cut. The Momo blue wefts are 13oz, and Oni has both a 14oz and 17oz indigo x indigo that should wear pretty lightly due to the loose weave. Very nice. This is my breakdown: Fitted underground 13.5oz Raleigh Denim 12.5oz (thought it was a 13oz. Had to look it up) Left Field NYC 16oz Levis 511 (I'm guessing STF, still not sure what "STF" means) about a 13/14oz update: I know what STF means now, thank you google lol. My 511 are not STF. Brave Star 14oz

I know, the rise irks me, since you mentioned Tanuki. Currently on Reddit there's a giver away for a pair of there slims in a size 36. 15oz double indigo unsanforized: https://www.reddit.com/r/rawdenim/comments/5wntw9/free_tanuki_giveaway/ Hopefully I'll win. If not then I'll have to shell out 285 for a pair Fromm Blue owl. You might check with Denimio if they'll proxy them. I checked last night, was talking to a Sales rep, but then knocked out. Will check again later today.
