Anyone here want to try to join me in a 90 Day No Spend Challenge? Thinking of starting one on my own in June. Giving myself a $150 leeway, in case Gustin drops either the Japan Taupes or Summer Blues during the no spend. Not going to back anything else from Gustin. No shirts, no denim, nothing. Nothing else from any other company either. Hopefully. I may be addicted, but I can stop at anytime dammit! Probably will reward myself with a pair of shell boots. Also going to be doing a very late spring cleaning, and sell a bunch of s* as well. Any interest? Anyone? Bueller? Bueller? Bueller?

Does this include buying stuff like replacement socks or underroos, or what?

Shell Cordovan boots will be worth the sacrifice of the 90 days no spend!!! I'm eyeing my pair for next year already.....

Alright I'm in for this, it'll do me some good. At the end I'll buy a CF lined chore jacket. So, 3 months would put us near the end of Aug.

This includes any fashion purchases for yourself. If you have gift cards, you can use them, but no cash/credit card can be used to make a fashion purchase. If you don't have anything of something you really need, you have until June 1st to get it. But since there's no real winners or losers, you can make your own rules up. For me, if the Japan Taupes or Japan Summer Blues drop during the 90 days, I'm backing them. Otherwise, I don't have anything else I need. Maybe some linen chinos/button downs for the summer, but I have June 1st to get them.
If you're down, add your name to the list. When you're out for failing the challenge, put a strikethrough line through your name and say what was it that made you fail the challenge.

So for 90 days from today (whats that Aug. 16th?) we're not spending any money (on clothing), except for socks, underroos, or our grail pair of jeans (or two pairs of our most coveted). And in the end we get to reward ourselves with a pair of $700 shell cordovan boots (or something of comparable value)....?.... My wife will love the savings soon to be had

It'll be from June 1st until August 29th, but it wouldn't be awful to shoot for Labor Day, although I am getting ahead of myself.

I just had one last fix (PBJ 2174) and am starting my 90 days now. I also include not buying any electronical equipment. This is going to be interesting!

This is fascinating. I opt to give up denim spending during Lent, so I've gone 40 days with some spill over. Prior to my recent backings, I had gone 4 months sans backing anything. Now I'm in on 2 denim (G, CF) and 2 G shirts.
Considering that I'm only really holding out for 1 more denim "type" (something nep), I'm up for this game.

In honor of this thread and having $200 more in my pocket.
I canceled the vintage breeze plaid.
I also canceled the cone blueXblacks. I really liked them but I have blackxblack and indigoXindigo and blackxaqua.
I don't need more saturated dark denim.
