Yeah, it's new for the natural indigo on the Secrets. I think I heard they're fazing out the 22oz. Between Oni and IH, that weight (21-22 pre soak) is getting rare. |

Okay guys, I finally got around to taking pics lol work has been crazy lately. that slub though  beige weft  yes to the arcs  different color stitching, and copper rivets.  looks like a quick fader, I've worn these maybe three times.  G's loomstate on the left, oni 417xxbe on the right  |

Being completely honest, I have a weird lower half, and it makes it hard to find jeans that fit. I tried my hand at a pair of Oni 552s in Natural Indigo, but I didn't get quite the fit that I was hoping for/needed after two hot soaks. They are a size 36 and have been worn for literally 5 seconds. I can post exact measurements later on tonight if anyone is interested.

the only thing I don't like about the 417xxbe fit is that the taper isnt very pronounced.
I'm used to my calves being tight, these are loose.

Well today I am wearing my new Oni 502ZR's. I did a hot soak with moderate agitation last night for one and a half hours, then hung them to dry. I felt I could get more shrinkage, and quite frankly wanted more after trying them on this morning. So I went ahead and did a warm cycle in the washer followed by a run through the dryer. I got all the shrinkage out, and they fit much better. Don't even have to hem them now (probably wouldn't have anyways). I still may have the knee and thigh tapered though, I have some scrawny legs. Then again, I may not. Figured I should wait to see how the legs settle with some wear. Don't let the term "skinny fit" used for these jeans scare you away, I still have a fair amount of room in them. They are not leggings by any means.

Hi,
I just got my 517XXBE today 16.5 OZ the fabric is amazing love the rough feeling of the denim. The brown weft look pretty good.
I did a soak for 45 min in warm water cant wait to wear it.
I will post some pictures later
Where can i see some Fade pictures of this fabric?

I can't wait till mine look like this. I own the 517xxbe, the Secret Denim, and the Kabuki Vedge, and these are the only ones that have seen much wear from me because I love 'em so much. |

I got the 507 khn which is similar to these minus the greencast.
I've worn them maybe 3times it is some streaky denim & the slub is very pronounced like the n&f big slub I believe.
maybe when I'm 40 I'll get around to these haha.
ONI is going all out this last year insane..
can't wait til they release their double deep indigo so I can see how the texture compared to my 007 pbj.

Buttons leather patch copper rivet denim jeansOn my bucket list of denim brands I have been wanting was Oni ! I heard that Denimo was doing a contest with samurai and oni. And the timing was right for me So I decided on a pair of the Oni 277-XX. The contest pair has a special leather patch and buttons. Upon opening the package I was surprised at how rough it was, kind of like sandpaper. I have a pair of Shark skin boots and the texture felt the same way to me. I have worn these for a week or so and the sandpaper feel is not as pronounced accept just behind the knee. this part still feel very rough against my skin. I love the slubbiness of the denim the little neps sticking out here and there. And the details like the exposed copper rivets I am linking photos of the patch, rivets,buttons and jeans. I am very glad I purchased these and was able to get in on the Denimo contest!
