Spent a solid 90 minutes trying on Jeans at Blue in Green yesterday. Tried 3 different cuts of Secret Denim (517, 512, cigarette slim). (Also in different sizes) My favorite out of all of them was the 22oz Natural Indigo Kabuki Vedge. This was my #2 denim of the day, actually I walked out with a Studio D'Artisan pair, which wasn't even on my radar. Yeah, I'd like to hear which Studios you'd like as those would be my last ever as I'd like to get a pair to go with my supremely amazing Studio denim workshirt. Also, the Natural Indigo Kabuki are my favorite Onis that I have between those, the 517xx and the Secrets. All three rank over most of my other jeans, though haha. |

Same here - I have the 517's and love them but the secrets don't interest me. I have seen pics where they look really good though

They do. I'll post mine up mid winter or so, the're out of rotation right now and last winter I only had them for a month or so before it got warm here. I think they're awesome but I do understand why some don't like them. If you like dark, dense denim, these aren't your pants.

Really enjoying my 517's. They are my go to pair on a daily basis. The waist is still a bit big on them, but nothing a belt doesn't fix.
They are so soft and comfortable now that they have broken in, and the way the nep stands out as they fade is awesome.
