I have both the 517xx and 546, but loving the look of those 506zr also. Probably not different enough from these two to justify a third Oni pair haha.

I would be fine using the same ixi fabric he did the last type-3 in. For now. Most important for me is the type-2 pattern and a good-fading fabric.

brentkuz, 527ZR pics on page 2. They're snug on me though so if you're one of those guys who gets all ruffled over that, just avoid the crotchal region  Fade pics this winter.....currently in Project Pima Fire mode.

I think bugula is a member of the Bilderberg group and he has a global monopoly on denim fabrics. bugula controls the denim market and every piece of denim in existence from cheap Levis to Iron Hearts is sold to those manufacturers by bugula. Bugula controls the pricing of said denim and sits back and laughs at us all as he rakes in the profits from our crazy denim addictions. When he's bored he'll increase some prices here and there......ever wonder why Gustin will increase the price of some campaigns every now and then??? yep.... bugula is why. |

After going back and forth I managed to get my first pair of Oni's on Grailed for $150 delivered (546zr).
I've bought four pairs of various brands since joining this forum a couple of months ago.
Keep this up and I'll be on a steady 24 pairs a year.
Still have a lot of catching up to do!

Spent a solid 90 minutes trying on Jeans at Blue in Green yesterday.
Tried 3 different cuts of Secret Denim (517, 512, cigarette slim). (Also in different sizes)
My favorite out of all of them was the 22oz Natural Indigo Kabuki Vedge. This was my #2 denim of the day, actually I walked out with a Studio D'Artisan pair, which wasn't even on my radar.
