I'm envisioning the Wabash used in a pair of chinos to make a pseudo dress pant. Stop making me like your stuff! My wallet can only stand so much...

There is only 100 yards left on that cone olive drab... as for shirts..we want to do shirts..but we still have 4 vintage machine we are looking for before we start..all our product has a lifetime guarantee and when it comes to shirts..we have to to it the right way...old school that will last 100 years...none of this mass shirt manufacturing for our shop... Mike has his great grand fathers shirts ( workwear ) from the 30's that we copied the construction..shirts where made a lot different back then..and it is still in great shape..we want to do the same... Mike has been researching this for a while and wants to do it right....old school... plus ..all due honesty ..we are still getting our jeans on the right track with everyone's comments to make them better..so we are in no rush ..so baby steps and everyones great input from the forum is what we want to make our product the best we can.. the most important to,us is to get this stuff to everyone in a timely manner...we have not been perfect but we will not take on too much to hurt our current deliveries.. but I really want to do shirts...HA cheers ciano oh absolutely, take your time, I'm just being selfish because I'd love to see that wabash made into a serious workshirt (so that my office-dwelling-bum can use it as a jacket!) that'd give Iron Heart a run for their money. The jeans and pants you're making are solid work, though, and I'd hate to see you compromise that just to expand your offerings before you're ready. I like that you're continuing to develop the pants with more details, and I love the cinch-back detail. It's always a treat to see all the pictures you share, and I think it's going a long way to encourage purchases, so keep up the good work! +1 on the Wabash workshirt

Isn't 1oz handkerchief weight? EDIT - following the link shows the accurate weights.

the chinos have been available for a while in duck canvas. they're already up on the site. the 12oz'ers are available in a variety of colours - just click on the ochre option, and the other options will show up on the order form. the 18ozers, are only available in the black, brown and khaki.
i'd suggest you contact ciano directly. email him or via the site. he is totally up for customisation suggestions.

Man. For how rare everyone says that cone mills olive over-dye is, there seems to be a heck of a lot of it around. That Kurabu green and the wabash are great, though. Any chance you guys are looking at doing shirts? There is only 100 yards left on that cone olive drab... as for shirts..we want to do shirts..but we still have 4 vintage machine we are looking for before we start..all our product has a lifetime guarantee and when it comes to shirts..we have to to it the right way...old school that will last 100 years...none of this mass shirt manufacturing for our shop... Does anyone have any Ciano Farmer Chino fit pics? I haven't seen any. I want to get a pair of Chinos for some occasions. I wear jeans 95% of the time. Would maybe wear Chinos more if I had a nice pair. Considering the duck black or charcoal.

Like you need to pull them up.

They're actually not that baggy when you see them in person. Maybe it's just the shadows and light that make it hard to tell.

I am wondering if a charcoal or black duck fabric chinos would still look too rugged compared with a normal cotton fabric? Once again looking for something to wear in more formal occasions. Not black tie or suit occasions but for when more than jeans are required.

Brass rivets are cool though. As far as casual for weddings, clothes are just clothes but it is fun to dress up for occasions. Ripped jeans only work on in shape ladies, Axle Rose and other rockers.

You can ask Ciano to use bar tacks instead of rivets. I did that on my indigo selvedge and they look more dressy.

I was thinking of asking him if he would do this on a pair for me so I'm glad to hear he has before. I think bar tacks on the charcoal would look pretty nice Winterland - that might be my next pair from Ciano.
