The leather will definitely stretch. When I got my 1907 Moc Toes it took a few weeks of daily wear, but now they're as comfortable as slippers.

I went to a Red Wing store today, and they wouldn't trade them out. (They said they weren't supposed to do that, but I got the impression that if they carried the color I bought, then they might have helped me out.)
On the other had, they convinced me I got the right width. I'm now thinking I should have gone down 1.5 sizes though! But I think these ones'll work for me. I'll probably be happy when it's really cold and I want very thick socks...

Sell it on B/T or ebay maybe a better option than shoes doesn't fit. Good luck.

I'm new to this, and I didn't even know how boots were "supposed: to fit. The Red Wing site said "A new pair of Red Wing Heritage boots should fit comfortably tight on your foot", and I think the ones I got were just comfortable without being tight. So I think I should have gone down 1.5 sizes. (Especially since sizing down 1.5 felt good in the store.) Also the salesperson told me to call 1-800-REDWING to see what they could do, so maybe I'll try that to see what they can do. If that doesn't work, you might see some size 11 black beckmans on BST soon...

If in case you decide to keep the boot, not totally ideal (since your feet cannot mold to the leather sole of the boots) but additional insole can also help with the size.

Anyone know how to remove indigo transfer on boots? I'm trying to avoid using saddle soap. help me out? Try Lexol spray cleaner/conditioner. I use it for all sorts of things like this and it doesn't grease up the leather. Use old T-shirts or wash cloths.

From my experience, most places will exchange them for you, as long as you haven't worn them outside, or marked them in anyway. I would have thought that Red Wing would be more liberal than that.

From what I've heard about where Red Wing places support, liberal is just about one of the last things I'd associate with Red Wing. However, this list may indicate that what I've heard is wrong.

This is a topic that will never die, so I won't get into the ± of using it or not. Up to you - do some research and you'll be totally confused. I don't use it, but I like Pecards and Lexol to clean. Like many, been using that for years. I only use Vaseline on my leather jackets. Sounds gross, but one of the best makers in the world recommends it and that's all I use now.

Old26 same is said about Lexol and how it can be a mixed bag. I've been using coconut oil lately.

Never been a fan of Lexol, it seems too heavy. I've used Spinneybeck cream and Leatherique, wouldn't mind trying Leather Masters stuff too

Old26 same is said about Lexol and how it can be a mixed bag. I've been using coconut oil lately. Fill in the blank and put in any product. Do some research and do what works for you. I never insist on anyone doing anything I say. Just what I do, so at least I walk the walk. If I just read it but don't do it, I state that. There's a 100 ways to accomplish this task well. Just pointing out that this is a topic that could (and has) gone on for literally years...

Cleaning only. I like the cleaner. I've used those too, and they're all good.

Just found a pair of Women's Iron Rangers in my girlfriend's size on E-bay for $200. She now is the proud owner of a like new pair of brown IRs. Super jealous. Now if only someone with wide feet would sell their 8.5's.

Looks good! Mine look exactly the same. Maybe a bit less indigo. Posting iron ranger wear pictures is like posting a picture of your Glock. They all are cool but all are identical.
