What coupon code do you have to use to get 40% off? 40% is in store, 25% with DECBC15 online. The trick is that the stores can get you anything BB sells at 40% off. really?! Can I get the shell cordovan boots for 40% off?

It says "select shoe styles" as one of the very few exceptions along with their crap 346 suit line. It has worked for me in the past on RW boots, but I'm not 100% sure it will work on those sweet shell boots.

I'll swing by one of their stores to ask.

Amazing... Stopped by the Brooks Brothers store, and I was able to grab the Alden Suede Boots for $240. Wait, how did that work? I had $250 worth of stuff I bought for my gf over the summer that I needed to return. Walked into the store, was greeted by the store manager and a new hire he was training. Was doing the return. Asked the manager about the 40% off a single item, and if there were exclusions. He said no exclusions. I mulled over the Peal and Co cordovan boots, but I wasn't going to spend $700 on a pair of boots, not baller enough. So I asked about the Alden Suede Boots, and he said okay. He pulled out a calculator, did some math, and handed $227 to his employee to ring me up for. She called up corporate, placed the order for $227 + tax, which came out to $240 and change. Ended up ahead ~$10 in the end, which is nice, because I didn't think they'd accept my return. It was past the 90 days by a week. So for the return, I basically copped Alden Suede Boots. Crossing my fingers they don't run out of stock or something, because it's slated to ship Monday.

Math, how does it work?! You should have picked up the shell boots, they would have been a steal at 60% off.

Hindsight, if I knew I'd get the AS cordovan boots at 40%, I'd have snapped it up in a heartbeat. But I didn't want to screw anything up after he handed that price to his employee lol. Also, for cordovan boots, I really want Alden shell boots in Color #8, so I'm fine wth skipping on the ASs. Also not a big fan of the derby style.

I've been thinking about picking up some Red Wing Moc toes too gaseousclay. Which color are you getting? Probably brown. I came across the Briar slick moc toes at Nordstrom Rack a month ago for $140 but didn't buy them. Kicking myself for not pulling the trigger when I had the chance. Either way, I know my size now and can probably find something I want

Debating them or the roughnecks in copper. Tired of only slick soles.

Redwing's got a suede chukka I'm interested in as well, but I'm not sure if they're available stateside let alone in E widths

Debating them or the roughnecks in copper. Tired of only slick soles. briar oil slick is an awesome finish/colorway. have them in a chukka and the linemans. speaking of linemans...the 2906 should be the number one consideration for anyone's next wing purchase. most comfortable model there is.

Got one pair of clown toes, looking for moc toes. Trying to decide if I can pull the Kangatans off. Or stick with the Vibram sole on the Roughs.

What was the hype behind the Kangatans? I remember people being crazy over them, but I wasn't sure why... Because they're green?

Wish it were a more subtle green, will likely grab Olive Rancourts instead, just easier to work into rotation, and I prefer the lactae hevea soles.

I think the Rancourt custom option CANNOT be beat at the price they are offered. I have a pair of Color 8 Shell Blake boots and they are GREAT!

That'd be cool if the kangatan was anything like the boot that inspired it. Or at least made of kangaroo leather.

I'd kind of like to have a pair of those cabelas even though I have no reason to. Kangaroo leather is typically limited to soccer shoes (football boots), it'd be nice to have a pair of boot boots.
