Update on my rust twill: I contacted the G men about my shirt fabric being sewn inside out. Without naming names, the first response I received was one of their surprise and disbelief. Knowing derek had encountered a similar issue, I found their amazement a bit disingenuous. Granted, I don't know for certain whether derek's issue had made the rounds at G, yet. So, I gave them some benefit of doubt. I sent pics, and the next response I received stated the decision was made by the production team to sew them this way. Considering, I have seen photos of this shirt sewn properly, I found this completely dishonest. In the end, I was given store credit. Say what you will about G CS, my experience has soured me. I will use my credit on one of 2 items I have been waiting for the return of. Beyond that, washing my hands of Gustin is the only option I feel I have. Honestly, I wish I didn't feel this way. But, it is what it is. That's pretty ridiculous.. They were at first shocked, and then they did a 180 and said they are sewing them that way now? I would have asked for a refund, not store credit.

As for store credit, they always offer me that, and I always reply that I'd prefer a refund, and I've always gotten it. It's annoying, but I've done this so many times now I think of it as just one more step to getting my money back.

I really wanted to give G the opportunity to make it right. But, as time has passed, I find myself more irked about it. Being more than a week, I wonder if it's too late to ask for the refund ?

It wouldn't hurt to ask! Just say that the more you thought about it, the more you realized that the shirt you received was not the shirt they advertised, so you'd really prefer a refund. My guess is they'll say "sure thing, you'll see the money on your card in five days".

Anybody have any pics they'd be willing to post of the red magenta rustic twill in the wild? I'm starting to feel that I don't have the creative capacity to picture a complete shirt from just a small swatch that G shows with a campaign. I've passed on too many great looking shirts because of this.

That one was a misnomer. It wasn't faded at all. It was really bright.

I think consensus is that it's less weathered, more rumpled.

So, I received this shirt MONTHS ago from Gustin.... Brown x Black flannel or something of the sorts is the name..... Worn once (prior to today), and was machine washed/dried. Today, I woke up late and rushed to get ready, throwing on any shirt that wasn't wrinkled. When I got out of my car to walk to the office, it felt like my shirt was twisted on my body... So I adjusted a few times, but it kept feeling awkward. Finally, I got to my desk and realized this shirt has more twist on it than some loomstate left hand twill Lee's from 1963! As you can see, the chest pocket is all the way in to my armpit! Where you see my simple wallet at in the bottom of the pic is where my belly button is..... I am genuinely embarassed to be wearing this shirt right now.

@untucked - the placket is at something like a 20 degree angle on that thing. You can blame twist but that thing was sewn like a corkscrew.

Twisted, skewed, corkscrewed...
I look like a soup sandwich right now...

Just keep looking over your shoulder, like you heard/saw something.

My non-stylish co-worker called me out already.....
" Did you order that fcuked up shirt from China?!?"
I had to hang my head as I told him that, on the contrary, it was made in America

Dear lord what a monstrosity. It rivals rumpled shirt sin.

Might be worth it. Probably won't do anything but they took mine back after like 3 months.
