I want to know how indiecred17 resisted the urge to choke the living day-lights out of Roman for all the stuff he has put his "customers" through. I am pretty sure it would be a bad idea for any us on this forum that have been waiting for products or cash back to ever meet him in person. In reality I don't know how I would react if I went to his shop and he answered the door like in the news cast. I most likely would yell, "Where F**ck Are My Jeans! "You **d ***ned ***ing ****ard!" Lol!
That being said , I still want my jeans I ordered just about one year ago.
I am very curios on how they will turn out considering Jeanmaker/Manny is not making them.

Yeah, I know. Makes no sense, right? But I like the fit. And the details. And knowing that folks like Manny and Sal/DD made them what they are. I'll likely order from Manny or Ciano in the future, but I'm not ruling out more LD. Frankly (and I've been consistent on this), losing $50 or $75 on a denim gamble is not something that I've dwelled on . . . the thing that disappoints me is not losing the money or feeling ripped off, but rather not getting the product. For myself, I take paying for something promised, and not ever receiving it, IS getting ripped off. Nothing more, nothing less.

In my old age I'm fairly nonviolent (besides my hobbies consisting of shooting stuff, choking people, and punching people). On top of that my foot is broken at the moment so I'm not sure how much kicking of butts I would do with one leg. Was just good to have some sort of product in hand. On a side note, I picked up a pair for my friend's unfulfilled order and they look decent.

I was ripped off, I know that--I just don't let it bother me because frankly, it's not enough money to pissed off about. Furthermore, I am in no way defending, nor am I a fan of RA. A ton of people are empty handed at this point, with money out and no product in. It would seem that he is hellbent on making this work and attempting to get product to purchasers; the motive for doing so aside, he's shipping shit out, and for most, it's too little, too late. For me, I've received all of the men's jeans I ordered, plus a promo pair that i wear the crap out of. I'm awaiting delivery on 2 pairs for my wife and doing all the math, I'm down net $50, or the equivalent of a bottle of low-end cab at a restaurant. I'm not happy about it, but it's $50. At the end of the day, though, I love the jeans, especially the 14oz. Kaihara's which are a nearly black indigo with a beige weft. Love this fabric. Love the fit. Wish I would have ordered 4 more pair exactly like them. So, why would I buy them again and risk getting ripped off (again)? Because every. single. time. I wear them, my wife tells me I look great--If that isn't a good enough reason to risk losing $50, I don't know what is.

RE: Being hellbent on making it work and getting product to customers. I have to respectfully disagree. People (including eyewitnesses) state he has a lot of said product sitting in the shop right now. If he was hellbent on getting it to me and others, we would have it (versus still sitting in his shop.). Plain and simple. Nothing else matters.

Someone truly devoted to keeping their business alive would spend more time truly delivering product than making excuses on a new website and TV I interview. I have zero idea what his true motivation is, but it's definitely NOT about ensuring we all get what we paid for. I think we all know the true motivation...$$$ He's trying to figure out how to succeed with his stubborn/self-absorbed/blame-everyone-else business model. I think he views the "trolls" and "haters" as the minority, but sadly enough for him, this audience is merely a microcosm of the larger market. He has a laundry list of things to remedy before he can expect to be taken seriously here and by his peers. Starting first with fulfillment of orders. Then...he can hire a consultant or whatever he needs to do to figure out how to right the ship. But he's too short-sighted to look at the obvious (i.e. the mirror) and realize that the issue lies in poor management. More of the same old Roman! Side note: I think we need our good friend @stevekas to visit this page once every two weeks to remind everyone of what people tend to begin to overlook/forget/semi-forgive quickly (when one order ships). It's good to keep the group level-headed

It's good to keep the group level-headed i'd venture to say that his motivation isn't that he thinks he'll be making any money from getting goods out, rather keeping the A.G. and those who might want to pursue legal action at bay.

Yup, he doesn't make any money from getting goods out. He's already gotten paid for it and spent all the capital.

Holy shit boys, I got a shipping notification. It ran the "tried to sell/give it to someone else" gauntlet and emerged victorious! I'm hoping maybe at least part of my order is able to do the same.

If I get anything even remotely close to what I ordered I'll consider it a bonus. I had completely written off getting anything at all, so this will just be a gift in my mind.

I also just got a shipment notice and one of my orders was updated to partially shipped. To date I have received 4 items (2 pairs of jeans and 2 shirts). One of the items in the order that just shipped was a pair of jeans I ordered to give to my wife for Christmas, maybe I will be able to give them this year

Okay then, out of curiosity and all these updates (and the fact they seem to now have the password reset working) I managed to log in at ldandco
No sign of my two orders though, Instead all it now says is;
"You haven't placed any orders with us. When you do, their status will appear on this page."
Anyone else had this? I was told my order was completed back in April, so guess my two pairs will most likely be going to someone else.

Yes, the actual order was for 3 shirts, but at one point I had called and told them that I'd take jeans instead if that would be easier for them. I'm sure this request fell into the abyss though. At this point, I have no idea what to expect. It's like pot luck at a holiday party.
