It does take a special kind of man to send his woman into battle for him. That said, I don't think anyone else has been contacted. But maybe that's strategic to keep the AZ AG at bay. what Roman is doing is definitely strategic, but he's simply repeating the same old pattern. He makes an announcement via social media that states LD&Co is still sending product out with the hopes of keeping the dogs at bay. But it's a ruse he's used again and again. He has no website, no contact info, has sent no refunds, no product, etc. Frankly, i'm amazed the AZAG hasn't already had Roman hauled in to jail. I mean, how many complaints does it take for them to actually do something? Either the AZAG is just as useless as LD&Co or there's something seriously ass backwards with law enforcement in AZ.

I don't think anyone doubts the quality of the goods, that we can thank to folks like Sal, Manny and the other sewing folks having a sense of pride. The problem most people seem to have is with the crooked nature of the people running the business and the lack of follow-through to deliver the quality goods or make good on refunds.
My items are well made. I'm looking forward to cooler temps as well to break out my Candiani work shirt.

how much are you owed by LD? $106.50. It's a drop in the bucket but at this point it's not even about the money I lost. I'm just saying, other people are owed a lot more and have no way to recoup funds. Clearly they're hoping beyond hope that they receive something.

It's possible he's not in AZ anymore. Very possible. He's a slippery snake and won't go down easy. He has no remorse. What was PM'd by Laura? Make no deals with them!

For what it's worth I also submitted a complaint to the AZ AG and received the same letter from their office that LD sent to them. Not sure why I'm the only one that Laura asked about my order status. The lameness is neverending with these folks.
But if there's any bright side to all of this, I have to say that checking this thread and seeing all of the stuff that comes out from these "new" denim companies and their possible connections to Roman Aceveda and Lawless Denim & Co (that's for the google searches) almost makes it worth it. It cracks me up the amount of sleuthing that forum members provide here on this thread about all this crap.

I suppose bringing in the media might also give other people who were rogered in his past failures/scams the courage to come forward.
They wouldn't have had the groundswell of support that the denim people coming here have. This might give them a voice too.
Who knows where this might end...

The frustrating thing for me is that the cut (LD Slim Straight) fits me better than anything else I've ever owned. As for quality, the army green pair i received was made from a pretty wonky piece of denim that had an obvious weaving error. "The army had a half day" --Buster Bluth

I no longer support this company and would never wear anything that bears their name. If Hell freezes over and I magically receive any of my order (along with a bonus gift of unicorn piss and Pegasus hair), then it'll immediately go up for sale. I'm not even angry. I'm just tired of the fiasco and don't want to give these jokers any reason to think that they've done a job well done.

Manny and fam created every last thing. If you like the cut, it can be made again. I am wearing my Indigogene's right now and love the fit, maybe even better than my LD slim straights

Clearly they're hoping beyond hope that they receive something. I know there are customers who are in deeper than me. I'm just saying for me personally i'm not even remotely expecting to receive my order, and I know LD&Co has absolutely no intention to send anyone their stuff. I can understand holding out and expectiing something, especially if you've spent more $, but i'm now looking at it as a lost cause, and I think others should too. As doctorcowboy pointed out, even if I did magically receive my order from them i'd likely pour gasoline all over it and set it ablaze. LD&Co is tainted and I don't want anything to do with them anymore.

I know he's hiding under a rock somewhere, it's just a matter of time before all of this catches up to him

I do think it's worth noting, as matt has also mentioned, that there were actual workers who cut the denim and sewed the items, many, if what was posted here prior is true, did so at a discount relative to what they were promised. It's important to make the distinction between a talented, loyal workforce and bad management.

I understand that people are angsty toward Roman/LD&CO/Lawless/RADenim, but I just wanted to report that I am wearing today, for the first time, my 14 oz. Kaiharas, and I love them. I've been waiting for the first cool day to break them in, and today was that day. They look great, fit great, but frankly the denim is pretty stiff and rough, so it may be a while until they are comfortable. I'm still owed two pairs of denim for my wife, and I'm still pissed about that, but I like to celebrate a victory whenever I am able to. Any Stinky sighting is a good thing.

The pair I received get plenty of wear. They fit perfectly and look great. The pair I traded with a friend aren't quite as nice but they're still a solid pair of jeans and I wear them now and again. Still owed one pair (that I know I'll never receive) but the biggest irritation, for me, is having handed over something like $25 to Lawless for overseas shipping 'costs' that were, obviously, never incurred by them. That aspect really sticks in my craw.

I gather quite a few people had Lawless insisting on them returning at their own expense badly fitting or badly made gear in order to get a refund. They probably never got that refund, much less the return shipping, so ended up paying for shipping twice. Talk about rubbing salt into the wounds.

Probably under his pillow too.

Its funny seeing Moto FAM calling out freeriders for their blatant misuse of their logo on Instagram. Even funnier reading Freerider's lame responses for being called frauds

Just doesn't seem professional to be airing it all over the Internet. I would bet in most of these types of cases if people were able to actually talk about it they could come to a mutual resolution. The internet would be a last resort.

Just a question for you guys. I got the charge back from the credit card on Aug 11th. However, on Sept. 28th, I got charged by LD on my credit card again?
Has anyone experienced this?
