Roman Acevedo, failed LD&Co business owner, really needs to give up on denim and look for a new business venture to fail in. Wow. LDandCo Scumbags is the Google gift that keeps on giving. Just found this: I searched the Maricopa Co. Court records and Retail 77 Cityscape, LLC brought a case against Lawless Denim & Co LLC and named Bank of America and Square Inc of California as garnishees (Case # CV2014-012763). Default Judgment was entered against LD&CO on 3/20/15 for $75,019.45. The "default" means that Roman Acevedo did not bother to show up. They have issued citations to recover funds from both BoA and Square Inc. Both Lawless Denim & Co., Inc. and Square Inc of California are in good standing. All of this is PUBLIC RECORD. My educated guess is that our money went towards satisfying this judgment. I do not see that they have declared bankruptcy yet, but if they do, we may be able to file appearances and make our claims. |

I don't know if I'd call it "believers" - I think this forum was a perfect storm at the right opportunity. LD may have triggered some of it, but the LD conversations on Gustin would have led to discussions about Ciano/IH/bunch of other brands...G didn't need to host that. They (G) smartly built their brand through enabling the community. I don't want to give LD enough credit to be the source of this. But they are certainly credited with driving volume with all the drama they stir up. |

If they read the first post they'd realize that this is the only way to reach out to all the users, going by post would be pointless. |

Someone in an earlier page on here posted their letter from the AZ AG. I think it stated that due to the circumstances, you may be within your rights to obtain a charge back from your bank. Track down the letter, you may be able to use it to show this isn't just an isolated incident. |

I understand that people are angsty toward Roman/LD&CO/Lawless/RADenim, but I just wanted to report that I am wearing today, for the first time, my 14 oz. Kaiharas, and I love them. I've been waiting for the first cool day to break them in, and today was that day. They look great, fit great, but frankly the denim is pretty stiff and rough, so it may be a while until they are comfortable.
I'm still owed two pairs of denim for my wife, and I'm still pissed about that, but I like to celebrate a victory whenever I am able to.
