I found it odd since LD has responded to some AG claims. My take is that LD is being advised by someone on what to say and do in order to circumvent the law.

My guess was that LD did respond but has stopped. The first letter the AG forwarded me from Lawless over a month ago had contact info (a phone number), but the one someone posted earlier didn't. That number is now dead.

Now that's some corn starch to thicken the plot.

Not sure if we want this kind of info on here. I agree that we might want to temper the information regarding whatever happened that's unrelated to the connection to the denim industry. The investigative content is helpful, but as long as it ties to the issue at hand - unfulfilled orders. Probably best to delete the content specific to domestic issues.

I emailed Freeriders asking about their time estimates and etc, it's been 2 days now no response It's all there on the site and Kickstarter. 6-8 weeks for site preorders, December 2015 for Kickstarter. It takes no time to mill the proprietary fabric, no test runs will be required, the mill will work through the holidays, and the LA shop is standing by to work through thanksgiving. Even though they won't get paid, logistically, til christmas. That's the advantage of years of established relationships.

What is awesome about this is that they covered themselves without saying anything different! Meticulous: showing great attention to detail; very careful and preciseOversight: 1. an unintentional failure to notice or do something.2. the action of overseeing something.I'll put my money into bucket #1.

FYI someone we know happens to be from San DIego Isn't a certain person known for using others to gain access to and pay for things, like store locations in the downtown area of a major city (for example)? So using someone else's alias to build a business when your name is slightly tarnished wouldn't be out of the norm in this instance. Hmmm. Bam. Great point.

I contacted MotoFAM to try to see if they have any relation to Freeriders - I do not think they do. The founder told me she was contacted last week by Freeriders, not sure who, and was offered to donate a product for their raffle, but no mention of any charity or asking if their logo could be used on Freeriders site..
She is going to look into them further

The worst.

Seems like if they reached out to donate a product..they would mention that they'd post about it on their page and et al..

Its a little sneaky imho

The sketchiness of all of it with Freeriders is there lack of a location, identity, or people behind the brand. Nothing in the About Us, nothing searchable on their social media, a private web domain identity, all too questionable if you're someone who has "built relationships in the industry". We know of an individual who is their IG personality, but are we to assume this person is operating all aspects of the business?
Regardless, they're on pace to 19% fund their kickstarter. Probably doesn't help their phishing site that everything points to.

Thread has crossed into the "please remove me from this mailing list" zone. Abort. Abort. Step away from the thread. Take a deep breath and go browse G or IH. We got this one. We'll call you back in when we get some quantifiable data besides the blatant abuse of the English language. Well, G is off my radar (oatmeal in 214 flavors) and I've got all the IH I ever wanted (two jeans and a vest). I'm all about the general convo threads, NFL and leather goods now But back to the point, quantifiable data that results in what? I don't think there's a real goal or point here anymore other than just perpetuation of the thread and trying to chase a dude off the internet, which is impossible. Confirmation of who's behind Freeriders? Figuring out if this woman is connected to who most think she is? Is the vest a ripoff? Did Roman trade his Honda for a Harley? The AG is looking into Lawless, the new Kickstarter is tanked, the principal operators are going to continue to open new businesses indefinitely, it's a free country, even for scammers. I don't know guys, when we've gotten to the point that we're scoping peoples criminal records and posting them along with a name, I think the forum is in shady territory. Just an opinion to ponder, that's all. I'm off to rip on some KC fans :devil emoticon: ....

Its a little sneaky imho I asked my girlfriend about this (she's in-house counsel for a large non-profit). Apparently it's illegal to offer a charitable donation as an inducement for a purchase without a written agreement in place for just that reason. It looks like they have removed references to Motofam. Anyone else and I would be willing to write this off as the road to hell being paved with good intentions.

How many of those 45 comments are people wondering where the hell their stuff is, and have they answered any questions regarding shirts? They banned me a long time ago for asking.

The problem I have with them is NOBODY WANTS TO SEE THEM FAIL, PEOPLE JUST WANT WHAT THEY PAID FOR. Poor f!@king them being the victims in this whole situation, but their refusal to answer questions and continual evasion of customers makes it seem like they're hoping people will forget about them. The only reason anyone would want to see them fail is that they got sick of being lied to and avoided.

Wow. I hope that's true, but they've broken so many promises, it's hard to believe it.
Does anyone have a screenshot of the instagram post from around July 13 that said some of the custom details would not be fulfilled and that people not happy with that should ask for a refund? I thought one was posted back then, but I couldn't find it.
Would really appreciate it if someone has one.
