I came across this link Seems they've already started manipulating the media. I would like to think they're actually legit....Maybe they're just running with romans good idea that he effed up, and making a run of it....maybe that's why the similarities are glaring. I just don't trust them...I don't know if I could trust ANY start up brands...with the exception of Sal of course. Could it be that Roman has single handedly ruined any chance for a start up brand to get crowd sourced funding? I'm starting to wonder if there is even any marketplace left for them. We're all so skeptical now. And the denim heads we used to refer to as "snobs" were already skeptical. Unless your already well known in the denim circles....I don't think you would stand a chance. Ok enough of my ramblings...carry on EDIT I can't get the link to work.

I think the small in house shops can succeed. Though they will experience growing pains and how they adjust (Price, less custom, time to delivery, involvement with the community) will determine their future.

Gotta give them credit for the whole "women who ride thing," very cunning rebranding there. Someone should cut Roman's hair while he's sleeping.
Edit: A couple comments on that article that mention Lawless have already been deleted.

Hmmm.......Dan Feltraiger deleted all of his posts. He had made post pitching the idea that if enough of us teamed up, we could go after Freeriders/LD. The post was up for 30 min or so then he deleted it. Could be a number of reasons why. I feel for the guy but his fight is bigger then my 2 shirts and his target (Freeriders) is ambiguous.

Edit: A couple comments on that article that mention Lawless have already been deleted. I find it hard to trust a website that writes marketing fluff and can't create links properly.

Hmmm.......Dan Feltraiger deleted all of his posts. Or he's been reading styleforum and that one dude that doesn't read this forum convinced him that we're all "Lawless Defenders!" as he tries to convince everyone that isn't asking.

I think that eventually, everyone will realize how good that show is -- unless Netflix succeeds in completely devaluing the IP. The third season is got-dam brilliant, but only if you've put in the work of the first two seasons.

Very very very odd. Vigilant monitoring of that article, then. I wonder why!!

I preached to anyone who'd listen back when it was first on, but not many would listen haha.

Annnnd...a new comment is up mentioning Lawless.
EDIT: Annnnnnd...it's been deleted. It said something like "I believe Roman Acevedo and Jamison Aweau of Lawless Denim and Whiskey Grade are involved in Freeriders. I am not saying this is a good thing or bad thing. Google these names and do with that info what you will." Or something like that. And it got deleted. Something's rotten in Denmark.

It's weird they've spent so many years fostering relationships yet none of the revealed principles in the company seem to have a history they're willing to share. Hell, the only way to find out who's behind any of it is the Kickstarter campaign, and I didn't really find anything on her, but her name does sound familiar, just not sure why.
