my two Lawless jeans are the only garments in my closet made of 100% invisible cloth (actually even the hardware & patch are 100% invisible) and they don't even take up any space either ... perhaps Romano is a visionary of 22nd century apparel ...

Burn them ahh, but there's the rub; as much as i hate the organization, i like the jeans. they fit well, are well made, and i'm fond of the niphon menpu grey. the cone (peach id) is well...cone...but i feel that i should have at least one pair of those lying around.

Maybe its our wet climate. I did work on the car alot during the time, painted calipers and changed some stuff underneath so got alot of scratching on the asphalt.

It wouldn't surprise me if Roman Acevedo crawled out from under his rock and started this thing. A little sluething: Domain Name: FREERIDERSCO.COM Registrar: ENOM, INC. Sponsoring Registrar IANA ID: 48 Whois Server: whois.enom.com Referral URL: www.enom.comenom.com is based out of Scottsdale, AZ apparently. This isn't conclusive evidence and it might only be a coincidence but this reeks of Roman Avocado

I'm in Scottsdale if you uncover any more clues, I'm happy to explore. I haven't seen much of anything tying this back to RA. It may be why the other guy was brought in - to remove the "stench" of LD.

If they have a street address I'll take a ride by.

Either way, the pics on the Freeridersco Kickstarter page still remind me of the pics that Lawless had up on their site, not to mention the use of Kevlar in their denim, which is what Roman Avocado was all about

I agree. We probably shouldn't assume until we can get a direct tie-back to RA. It's a niche that perhaps someone is looking to capitalize on from RA's failures.
Although I agree that the imagery does appear to tie directly to that moto model chick that gave LD a plug in Instagram. Keep Sherlocking. It's the only way we can be certain.

All the big words and evidence of a decent vocabulary (as well as the lack of all the catch-phrases that have followed him through all his businesses) have me thinking it's not them. The complete lack of social media for a new brand has me thinking that it probably is them.

Just FYI, AZ is a bit of a hot-bed for tech, godaddy is based there, enom, and several other tech companies. Domain registration is rarely done as a local transaction, you go to a website, register a domain, and whatever company that site uses to register the domain is going to be listed as the registrar.

Check the comment on that kickstarter link. Seems there's a dude already shaming them for allegedly stealing his designs.

From the comments on that campaign: Please do not support this company!!! Their work is the stolen design work of a small American Menswear company called Feltraiger, and I am sure others as well. You can see all the evidence you need at www.instagram.com/dan_feltraiger. My company is my lifeswork and this company as ADMITTED to stealing our design and is continuing to use it anyway. You can see all this documentation on the provided instagram link. You can contact me for any further information at Daniel@feltraiger.com
To Kickstarter: I have tried to contact you directly about this issue but have not received a response yet. Hopefully you do not support this type of behavior on your website.
Thank you'll

This is a good point, although I know some of Romans previous ventures had Scottsdale ties as well (addresses listed for LLC's, etc..). I was able to dig that up a little while back....could mean absolutely nothing who knows. Pff...freaking Scottsdale I tell ya....

I am sure there is some association with Lawless Denim/LD&CO/Roman Acevedo failed businessman extraordinaire. Their website looks identical to the last LD&CO website, but maybe it's just some generic template.
For what it's worth, the people they follow on instagram include a couple individuals name checked by roman personally in one of his numerous promotional videos.
Either way this company looks like a piece of garbage. Welp, see ya later.
