I received a RA response from AZ attorney General. Will post later. Pretty much b.s. As nowhere does he cop to the fact he stopped manufacturing.

I asked for a chargeback long before anyone here posted about it (Im not talking about wdw and the likes but before the flood) and I havent gotten mine yet. Visa chargeback.
They say they want to try and settle with the company first.
So I linked to the page with all the orders and am like "well its not happening anything?".
I hope the conversation/events would be something like: Q: Ok so are you not producing these? A: Yes we are. Q: Ok so what is the target date? A: Dont know. Q: You have to know or your not producing. A: Well ok target is 45 days. Q: *waits 45 days* Q: Is it delivered? A: No, bc this and that. Q: *proceeds with chargeback*
Right?

did they investigate if he's still producing product? I still need to take a picture. But essentially no. It's RAs response that they offered everyone refunds by going to authorize.net and if it's over 120 days to go to your CC company. I remember neither of those. Only to call and ask for a refund. Also doesn't mention that he stopped producing. Typos all over. I need to report in writing that they've shut down or made private all social media and that CC companies don't typical do charge backs after 120 days. I'll post it then I'll formulate my reply.

Yes. But I only recall the refund offer to call or email, neither of which they answered. As far as I recall I never received anything about authorize.net or a suggestion to get a chargeback after 120 days.
We discussed that on this forum but I never received that from RA. Additionally I think the suggestion for refunds was in posts stating they could no longer do custom and if stock was OK to hang tight.
No where did he ever suggest they would not make jackets or shirts and would be issuing a refund for all those orders

Thoughts? I do not recall receiving any recommendation to use authorize.net or cc charge back. And the only social media post I recall was the one "help a brother out" we can't do custom even if you ordered it so CALL for a refund. In fact I got my jeans. Nowhere did Lawless state "we won't be making your paid for shirts or jackets ever so get your $ back"

Nowhere did Lawless state "we won't be making your paid for shirts or jackets ever so get your $ back" IIRC there were people here that said when they contacted LD, LD just told them to get a charge back. This was before RTW and after people started their mass exodus from LD.

Thats an oddly written reply from Alicia.
But for me, its the first I've heard of refunds via Authorized.Net and also incorrect information regards bank refunds over 120 days being a matter of 'a simple credit card dispute' as we all know here.
My own experience was no word from them at all - I wouldn't have known about the changes of all orders to non custom orders nor that I was to contact them via phone for a refund if I hadn't read it here and then saw it on the now deleted ldandco.us website.
I emailed and called several times regards this and received no response at all.
Seems like an attempt to muddy the waters with incorrect information and false statements about how Lawless/Roman acted to me.

Visa says 120 days from target date. Target date is the last 45 days he gave here.

My impression of his tactics was that he was deliberately delaying refunds, saying "trust me", until he got past the magical 120 days after the two big sales in November and whenever.
Then it became too late to do a simple refund as Authorize wouldn't allow it after 120 days. Then of course everyone got into murky waters with how their bank chose to apply the 120 day rule, with some being successful and others not.
His hope then would be that people just gave up and allowed him to have free money.
The response in the letter above is disingenuous at best.

Visa: Chargeback Reason Code Time Limit 30 – Services Not Provided or Merchandise Not Received The chargeback time limit is calculated based on one of the following:
120 calendar days after the transaction processing date 120 calendar days after the last date the cardholder expected to receive the goods or services (not to exceed 540 days of the transaction processing date) 120 calendar days after the cardholder realizes the goods or services will not be provided (not to exceed 540 days of the transaction processing date)
The issuer must wait to process the chargeback until 15 calendar days have passed from:
The transaction date if the a specific delivery date for goods or services was not provided The date the cardholder attempted to return merchandise that was delivered late

Odd response from LD. I filed with the AG office before my bank refunded my charges and only received the initial "we've received your complaint and will follow up with LD" letter. In the mean time, my bank conducted their own investigation and gave me a full refund. If I hear from the AG office again, I'll take the time to inform them that I've been refunded (only because of my bank) but recommend that they do more than asking a company being complained about if the complaints are valid.?.? Just seems fair to take the next step and respond to the AG and say NO, LD's response is BS. I wouldn't make the career out of it but I would definitely respond a second time. The AG office likely runs on autopilot until they hear from a person more than one time. Griffin, I'd just provide your bank with links to this thread and any emails screenshots you have of your orders. I gave my bank as little info as possible about any revised delivery dates because then I'd be playing LD's game and they can just make up more BS as required. Good luck all.

I gave them a f!@king bible of info with original ordercopys, an excel-table of all things, what I had got and what I hadnt, together with each shipping and all that with a sum in the end of what I think Im owed. Also printouts from this forum and emails with LD. Maybe I gave too much, she told me it can take 90 days or something to process.

Interesting. He will have a harder time dealing with my complaint with the refund crap as he owes me for my work on the website and I have saved all email, text and voicemail messages ever received from anyone affiliated with Lawless.

Time to buy three pairs of a better brand. i did more purge than acquire this year in terms of pants (mostly because most everything i ordered never showed up or showed up with some strange issue). but...lately i'm definitely more inclined to pick up pairs from brands that i don't already have. next up will likely be samurai, rgt, or pbj if i convince myself i can get a pair that will fit well that said...the 2 pairs of LD i do own are easily as well made as any other pairs that i have. the fabrics also keep them around as one is currently the only pair of cone denim and the other the only grey in the mix.

Yeah, I agree with variety. I have two pairs of Gustin and only one of everyone else. I want some 3 Sixteens, PBJ's and Railcars before too long. But fades are comicaly slow on my current pairs, so no real rush.
