I've been wearing my King Zims every other day for a little more than a month and one day, all of a sudden - as if a switch flipped - they became super comfortable and I don't notice them on my skin and have been wearing them every day since. Now, I never want to take them off. Thought I'd share.

So I gave my OG Zimbs (15 oz) their first wash this weekend and I was very happy with the results. Surprisingly it was probably the most noticeable change I have noticed in an Indigo denim after their first wash as far as the shade is concerned. No crazy sick fades or anything, but the overall color changed from the greenish hue they have when they are new to what looks like the infant stages of a very beautiful medium blue. I was very pleasantly surprised. They look very nice.

Ironically these did not have a red bar tack. I've never blown a jean there but sure enough started going.

I've been wearing all my denims very gingerly because of the weight gain. Squeezing into slims right now. |

I've been wearing all my denims very gingerly because of the weight gain. Squeezing into slims right now. Yeah I have but the crotch is going at the center seam. Right where the bar tack would be. Just wear and tear. |

When I got my zimbs I wasn't as enthralled as I had expected to be. They seemed too soft compared and with less character than the crispy okas. Now that I've been wearing them for a week or so I've really grown to like them. The coloring in varied lighting is great and the softness makes them comfortable while still holding some creasing. Going to love seeing how these wear over time.

The Zim Cotton has a rugged, complex, and yet smoothness to it. |

My Zimbs nearly got me a handjob from TSA at Logan today. Went through the back scatter machine and the agent told me that it was instructing him to give me an extra pat down where he didn't want to. Showed me the screen and it had a big yellow splotch over my crutch! Starchy denim? Button fly? #bigdickproblems He told me to "adjust my jeans" and go back through. Clear the second time. I at least got the awesome emergency exit row seat.  |

When the screener does this, the scanning machine will indicate an anomaly in the genital area and this allows (the male TSA screener) to conduct a pat-down search of that area.” |

Made it through security in Atlanta without a proposed hand job from TSA. I'm really glad I didn't give up on the Zimbs. I've really enjoyed wearing them the last few days.
