That was a good read @scooter and I think that article touches on a good point. I commend the ex for being so honest and real. Sometimes people idolize and worship these guys and it's really quite silly. I always point out Paul McCartney as a musician to look up to. He is an amazing musician, family man and a gentleman. Still going strong at 73. If you want to read further into Scott Weiland here is him revealing some history and issues. I don't feel it was necessarily him making excuses but it does show us how important a person's childhood can be in shaping their future life. Pay attention to your kids. www.esquire.com/entertainment/music/news/a40198/scott-weiland-interview/

People spend money on all kinds of Stupid things. These are a few things that I find ridiculous- Cigarettes, any coffee over $2, music (I've never bought a cassette/CD/file), Adele tickets over $100 (there crazy stupid money now!), lunch, going out for dinner every week, Rent, ties over $20, lawn mowing service, bottled water, CC interest, etc These things I choose not to spend my money on, why not? I don't really know, just the way I was raised, the way my wife feels, what I've seen/perceive other people waste their money on. But I don't so I can be stupid and spent $300 on a Waffle shirt. You've never paid for music? Do you only listen to the radio?

Lol, I knew that one would perplex. My brother got tangled up in the 80's with Colombia House (I think that's it) and ended up owing $1000+. So I just used his tapes and WalkMan. Now I just listen to the radio and worst yet AM! oooOOO The HORROR!

He didn't know what he was signing up for, and they were targeting kids.

I end up listening to AM radio for the talk stations as sometimes after listening to 12 hours of music I need a break.

I enjoy some music, Jethro Tull is what I've been listening to lately (my boys didn't believe that a flute could be cool, not sure if they were convinced

I usually listen to sports talk on the road, but being from the DC area, all they talk about are the Redskins, and how Gruden "turned it around" this season. How easily they forget that it's not so much that they "turned it around" but that they had one of the easiest schedules in the league, winning against bad teams and losing against good teams. And that Coughlin forgot how to coach blowing games left and right, that the Eagles have imploded for more than half the season, and that Dallas lost both Romo and Dez for long stretches of the season. Hate the Redskins. /rant

Sitting on the park bench -- eyeing little girls with bad intent. Snot is running down his nose -- greasy fingers smearing shabby clothes. Aqualung I used to still listen to Art Bell and lost track of him now listen to Coast to Coast AM. Another show started up from Minneapolis called Darkness Radio which is along the lines of the above. Supernatural phenomenon, ghosts, UFOs etc www.coasttocoastam.comwww.darknessradio.com

Started up and quit so many times in the last three years...now it's people "shooting at his house" that had him quit again. Frankly, his shows sucked and he has soured his C2C legacy. I like Dave Schrader on C2C along with George Knapp and one other guy from Canada. Only issue with C2C is the product pimping and the sky is falling way they go about things. But it's good for me as I can't sleep worth a damn any more!

Dave Schrader is the Minneapolis Darkness radio host and I know he has guested on C2C. George Noory the main C2C host is decent but I liked Art back in the day better. I end up downloading some of the C2C and Darkness shows on my phone for road trips. My 10 year old boy loves them. Keeps entertained for hours. I filter any real scary ones.
