Haha, wow. If that's excellent condition, I'd hate to see good condition.

Posting up my longest standing G's - Japan Standards, purchased in Nov. 2014. About a dozen soaks and 1 recent wash. Not as much fade as I could have had I not used this as my gateway drug denim into my selvedge collection. Still worn at least once a week as they look beautiful and are what I'm trying to get my others to look like. Pics here.

Looks like a solid pair of good Looking jeans, nothing crazy but even and that means they can be worn for any occation.

The fades are a little brighter than I was able to capture. Regardless, the Japan Standards are a highly underrated lightweight denim from G. The fit on these was a little more slim than the slim fit (not quite skinny), but the fit is spot on. i've been working on a couple other pairs besides the Antiques - I've got surprisingly decent fades on my Grey Silk 2s and slow and steady on the American Sixteeners.

Anyone have some wear in with the Blue 17's? Just pulled these out of the closet and put my first day in them. Kind of like the feel and the fit of these. Bought them because they were a good deal at $74. But before I commit to putting them in full use I'd like to know what may become of them. Their (or there, I never could get that right. Went to a trade school in the 80's so what do expect a lighter almost gray (or is it grey) color so I'm not expecting contrast fades to be anything to marvel at.. I'm thinking I'm going 70's style and just wear and wash.

American Standards. Lost count of how many wears these have. Don't think I can keep track of the wears to be honest. I'll just guess and say 7 or 8 months

I have too many pairs of jeans. I don't get to invest as much time in them as I'd like.

Gave the American Standards another machine wash...they were so damned filthy. I've noticed that I can almost see through the fabric of the butt area of my jeans due to it being so worn. Also likely I can see light come through because it's only a 12.5oz denim

Natural Indigo2's in Nara, Japan. This is one of my favorite cities from my travels. They got these deer. You can pay for deer crackers and feed them. The deer also bite you. Fun for Everyone! Time to go back to my home planet.

Wow how long have you had them for? how do you wash? I've had them about 2.5 years. They got a lot of no-wash office duty for the first year+ but over the past 14 months they've been worn in a distillery so they see lots of flour, beer, sweat and dust and abrasion from moving barrels around. They get washed probably 2x a week now. (I have Celiacs, so removing the grain dust and flour is very important to me)
