Anyone have a 38slim 23'oz from the last campaign? If so what was the original waist measurement? Hey Brent. My 38 measured at 36 out of the package. It was clearly an error on their part, so I would not expect it to happen again to that extent. I'm pretty sure they have heard enough feedback at this point, which will hopefully help them to prevent blatant size issues in future 23 oz runs.

23 oz. Collect Mills Japanese selvedge denim Yeckel, I have no reason to doubt your call re. Collect Mills...& formidable sleuthing, too, if your call is correct! Anyhow, small blurb on them from BlueOwl: "Japan Blue is a new concept by fabric maker Collect, Co, LTD. Collect is the same fabric manufacture behind Momotaro denim and has a deep routed tradition of denim making in Kojima, Okayama."Hehe it was a guess , they look exactly like the 23oz left field puts out.

I think yeckel is right about needing to be logged in to see the Stock page. I tried logging out; no Stock page for me. Logged back in; able to view Stock page no problem.

Makes sense that it would be this way, are you other guys logged in and not getting stock page? Sorry for my lack of being around ha fixing my car up has taken priority and trying to isolate some odd noises out of my front end after new parts in.

no indexed stock page for me logged in or not or from various browsers...guessing it's more glitch than anything considering g's site and site maintenance are fairly low-tech affairs

still able to see /stock. not sure why some see and some don't. that's super odd if everyone's logged in. be sure to log out and try logging in again though - when i edited a size this morning, it forced a log in so sessions might be timed out.

IP could be an issue, but it's really doubtful that they're monitoring and restricting stock page access via IP

i doubt G is big enough for this but sometimes sites are hosted on multiple servers and it takes a while for a change to propagate across all.

I haven't heard of any issues with people trying to access the store or other areas of the site. I think it's rather coincidental that G's completely dropped communication with the forum, confided in someone that they see no future in it, and that's the only part of the site that people have inconsistent experiences with (aside from the stock store, which I cannot access, either).

wisdom possible, but there would be no real reason to restrict users from visiting the stock page, and who can/who can't seems pretty random. even their initial testing of the stock page was only limited by a secret email. i've seen enough goofy and technically challenged changes to their site to lean more towards tech than intention at this point. i could be wrong of course, but seems like a lot of froth over very little substance. i still visit the pages over there pretty regularly, but definitely won't be taking it very personally if they shutter the place in the near future.

How much stretch have people gotten out of these? I have purchased a pair that are my regular size (didn't size up as suggested) so i am curious as to what everyones experience has been

I measured them out of the box, and pulling them as tight as I could, I could get 33.25. I made them work, as I wasn't going to let these go back, and now they fit perfectly, as the waist has stretched to my 34.25"

I have the 26, and they did sew up small, but I had lost some weight so they were good. They've also stretched probably an inch or so, making them fit really well. Not sure I'd like them had I upsized...

I think icould make them stretch more, but am using a belt to minimize this.

I have worn the Gustin 23 oz about 60-80 times. I have to say, they don't soften up very easily. I have not washed them yet, but I would expect them to soften more than they have. These things are still like wearing cardboard. They are extremely stiff and I can't say they are very comfortable. They're warm as hell though now that the weather is changing.

3.5 months of solid wear on 23's. Tight-weave brutes that require initial 'obedience training' but, imo, are well worth the effort. Didn't size up & a solid stretch was needed - waist was 30.5"...stretched now to 32.5". Comfortable, soft...& there is more weft show-through &, overall, they seem to be ageing really well.

Still thinking about backing these again when they re-issue. Probably going to a 38slim but maybe 37slim.
