Dafuq is that? Can you unsee it for me? I consider us even now... Harsh, but fair. I should know better than to try to advocate on behalf of something by posting a picture of me doing or wearing it. "Hey, everyone! Who wants to look like a gangly, awkward, and possibly drug-addicted pituitary freak? You do? Well, have I got just the thing for you..."

usctroll - The boxing workout is killer. I know people who've picked it up in their 40's-50's and claim it's put them in the best shape of their lives. I did it in college and loved the challenge and the results. Never thought I'd step in the ring for the same reason as you (didn't like the idea of getting hit in the head), but eventually tried it, and was hooked. A few things.. first, I wasn't ready to step in the ring until at least 6 months after starting, even though I was pretty fit and did track in high school. Second.. don't let early success get to your head!

No dude, I just thought it was Christian Bale in another epic role! BTW, someone took my blanket off the Stickley last night, of course one of my cats puked on it this AM. You started this mess, and now I have contempt for you!

I need to find a friend to work the focus mitts with me in the future just for the workout aspect of it. Something about hitting makes it easier to push yourself to the limits.

Yeah, man.. get a partner, for sure. Getting an SO into it has a lot of advantages and, since a lot of it is conditioning and coordination, won't hinder any progress. I remember doing 3x1 minute drills (3 minutes of an intense activity/1 minute rest) for 12 rounds. Everybody pushes themselves and each other. Good luck making the cut!

I'm gassed after our 1.5 minute punching, 1 minute rest drills. The fight is only three 1.5 minute rounds with one minute breaks.

I hope it tastes nothing like the combat powder. So sweet it was almost impossible to choke down. I think I had the chocolate milkshake flavor or something.

Like a Twix bar, the cookie dough flavor. It's not chalky or taffy-like like other bars I've tried. I'm hooked on these. Ordered 4 boxes. The local Vitamin Shoppe carries them if you want to try before ordering.

I have to say that for one of the more mainstream heavily marketed supplement brands out there, MusclePharm is probably one of my favorites. I always look past the fancy, glossy packaging of the "big brands" and look at the ingredient list and MusclePharm is quality. They are big on using ingredients that are safe for athletes and they don't seem to use a lot of fillers in their products. Overall they are a quality brand.

I think all the protein powders are too sweet. You would think they could just lower amount of sweetener. We are not drinking them for the pleasure of it. Doesn't mix as well as some others but again it is no big deal. Just stir more.

With no time (by no time I mean I'm lazy) to get to the gym I'm paying out the a** for, I started lifting again with my Ironmasters Quick-Lock Dumbbells. Solid for upper body lifts. One day on, one day off. Workout A: Military Press/Kroc's Rows, Workout B: Chest Press/Bent Over Dumbbell Rows/Tricep Extensions. I also have the Ironmasters Quick-Lock Kettlebell but I'm far too lazy for that. Baby steps.

Oh, also my nutrition plan is, intermittent fasting until I lift, usually around 1PM, then grab a bite, usually Peruvian Chicken with Yuca, afterwards. I also get my fiber from Quest bars, and some extra fiber from my MusclePharm Combat Crunch bars. Usually try to hit 30+ grams of fiber per day. Usually have my last meal around 10PM ~ 11PM. Usually some home cooked Korean food or more Peruvian chicken. I love Peruvian chicken and yuca with their yellow sauce mixed with Chick-Fil-A sauce. It's crazy good.

Dude.. this Peruvian chicken and yucca with yellow/Chick-Fil-A thing sounds good. How the hell did you come up with that, devastitis? I love Chick-Fil-A sauce. If Chick-Fil-A didn't have Chick-Fil-A sauce, I'd probably not go there ever. If Chick-Fil-A sold their Chick-Fil-A sauce in bottles at the local grocery store, I'd probably not go there ever. It just goes so well with chicken and fries. So I had some left over packets of Chick-Fil-A sauce and decided why not. Mixed it altogether, and haven't turned back since. I go to Chick-Fil-A every now and then to get their waffle fries and like 4 packets of Chick-Fil-A sauce, and then get Peruvian chicken and yuca. Also, Chick-Fil-A honey roasted barbeque sauce ain't bad at all either if you run out of Chick-Fil-A sauce. That's the most I've ever typed "Chick-Fil-A" in my life, what a pain in the ass, but the sauce is so worth it.

wisdom, yes I do use supplements. Basically all I use is protein, a multivitamin, amino acids, and occasionally fat burners. Multivitamin; right now I use Opti-Men by Optimum Nutrition but I also like Animal Pack. Taken 3 times a day with meals. Protein; I use three different types of protein shakes. A basic whey protein based mass gainer about twice a day. Once as soon as I wake up with breakfast and another around 6 pm. Dymatize Elite Mass is what I use for that. My second protein is a post-workout shake which I drink immediately after my workout. It has all the good stuff your body and muscles need after a strenuous workout. I use After Shock by Myogenix for that. My third protein I use is a Casein protein and I drink it once a day before bed. Casein protein is slowly absorbed by your body as opposed to Whey protein which is immediately absorbed. Drinking Casein before bed will give your body a slow steady stream of protein and aminos throughout the night while you sleep. I use Optimum Nutrition Gold Standard Casein. Amino Acids (intra workout drink); right now I'm using MusclePharm Amino. I sip it during my workout. There's a lot of other good ones out there though like Scivation Xtend, Muscle Martini by GAT. etc... Then periodically throughout the year I'll use Thermogenics/Fat Burners to help keep my body lean. Nothing with appetite suppressants or anything, just products with ingredients like CLA (conjugated linoleic acid), Raspberry Ketones, Green Coffee Bean Extract, Acetyl-L-Carnitine, etc...Ingredients that help release fat cells and burn them for energy. Products like Animal Cuts, Arnold Iron Cuts, MusclePharm Liquid Carnitine Core, MusclePharm CLA Core, etc.. I'll also experiment with Natural Testosterone Boosters throughout the year as well. If you're interested in those I can give you a few that work pretty good. Oh, I will also cycle a Nutrient Partitioner. Animal M-Stak is a great nutrient partitioner. @wils I highly recommend that for hard gainers. I almost forgot Fish Oil, I take that too. Either Animal Omega or just the Vitamin Shoppe brand

forgot to mention a preworkout which I'll cycle (30 days on/30 days off). MusclePharm Assault, Animal Rage, Jack3d, etc...all good.
