As for the duck canvas jeans...Yes we can... No problem....But I can not guarantee the duck canvas for a lifetime unless we tape all the seam... Is that okay?... do you want us to make a sample so you can see what it looks like? I'd love to buy a pair and review them as a sample. I have a pair of Carhartt duck pants that are at least a dozen years old with no blowouts and no taped seams. They are triple stitched in areas but that's it, so I'm fine with flat felled and no taping with the understanding that you can't warranty. Maybe we could reach an agreement on price? I'd like something similar to the post-wash dimensions of your size 31 901 slim fit. In other words, waist 33-34, thigh around 12", leg opening 7.8", 34" inseam.

Mattbert we are going to do two fits. REGULAR SLIM FIT I will make up a slim fit in the duck canvas.... here are some pics of the finished jacket...this is in a regular fit...I will take more pictures of it on a person [me] and post tmr. Looking forward to the fit pics and the duck canvas sample. Once you get the cuts dialed in, I think it would be helpful for a lot of guys here if you are able to share measurements and sizing. Denim jackets aren't my thing, but I love the selvedge locker loop on your sample. It's just a little thing that nobody is really likely to see or appreciate besides the wearer, but I'm a sucker for stuff like that.

cianofarmer As you guys are working up the sample, it seems as though inside pockets are non-existent in trucker-land, but I don't buy coats without an inside, left breast pocket (yeah, kinda specific but I may be weird that way). I obviously don't know the full implications of such a thing, so it may not make sense, but that's my $.02.

Nice work cianofarmer. I would love to see you make a western shirt with long staple Texas cotton. +1, I live in TX and it would be cool to have a 100% made in TX shirt.

Nice work cianofarmer. I would love to see you make a western shirt with long staple Texas cotton. +1, I live in TX and it would be cool to have a 100% made in TX shirt. yes we are working on that..we are tring to find the right vintage machines to make shirts...Shirts made in the 20's and 30's are alot different than the ones made today..If you notice the ones made back in the day are still around...VINTAGE...I still have an old woven shirt that my grandfather owned..made in 1935..and it is still in good shape... Mike and I have been doing alot of research to find the right machines and the techniques of making woven shirt as they did back in the 20's and 30's... If we are going to guarantee lifetime repair on our shirt we need to do it the right way... And we are only going to use selvage edge woven fabrics...We are working with our suppliers to find the right fabric...

What lead-time are you running on orders for your jeans right now, and have you considered offering two different sizes of rear pocket? I know I can give you measurements but I'm not entirely sure what dimensions you'd be looking for to spec a rear pocket. One thing oddly missing in the market is lined US made options. Even though we have tons of sunshine in Colorado, jackets like these waxed cotton chores and truckers are useful for about four weeks out of the year as an actual jacket. A modernized (lined) M65, M43 would be great -- not a big fan of the drawstring look and the military pockets are big and pouchy, so to clean up that silhouette would be great, too, which would give it a less "frumpy" look, and potentially keep you out of the Barbour knockoff category. For some reason I like all the business going on under the collar on this one, even though it kind of goes against the concept of modernizing the design. I'm guessing that otherwise, there's a throat hole right there, which is a severely unattractive design concept.

here are the pics of the SLIM FIT DUCK CANVAS JACKET...sorry no inside pocket.. Ciano, nice jacket. Not sure is it the angle but the fit does not look very slim. The armhole can be a bit higher too.

I'm guessing that otherwise, there's a throat hole right there, which is a severely unattractive design concept. yes we can offer up a smaller back pocket as an option... as for the back pocket measurements just the width and height will be fine.. right now a size 30... our pocket CFDCo 6 1/2"h x 6 3/4" Gustin 6 x 6 1/4" levi's 6" x 6 1/2" NudieThin Finn 6 1/2" x 7" I totally understand the lined option for the jackets... we can offer it with lining...but it will add cost to the jacket.... I will work on a lined version... what kind of fabric should the lining be? Just a side note..I really want to do a CPO style jacket/shirt but our vintage machines can only handle denim fabrics [heavy].... any thing like worsted wool and a knit fabric ..our machines will eat the fabric up....I do not have the machines to handle that kind of fabric... I remember about 3 months ago STITCH FACTORY in Las Vegas ask us to help a designer out to sew up a pair of jeans for them that had a red check wool liner in it. Mike said said "sure"..Mike loves helping anyone when they are starting a brand,,,,American support!!!!......they sent us the fabric..Mike started sewing the fabric on our Singer 241-13..the machine just chewed the fabric up..you should have seen the look on Mike"s face...The fabric was a vintage check from the 50's....one of a kind....We did warn them!!! LoL as for the M-65 and M-43 Jackets...give us about 3 weeks to post the jackets on the forum..maybe sooner..you will not be disappointed..promise...Mike and I have modernize both jackets with a couple of new twist.. I will make one up as lined...but need to know what fabric would be best for the lining? ..so we can get it..and sew it up so show on the forum.... I may have to break out the old Singer 96 to sew up the liner...HA!!!
